I think we are talking at cross-purposes here. You have a single URL for access to the Roundcube webmail client, and users' emails can relate to any number of domains. What I would like to achieve is two URLs for access to Roundcube (www.domain1.com/webmail and www.domain2.com/webmail) where the emails relate to domain1.com and domain2.com respectively. Is this possible?
again: roundcube is a MUA like Outlook or Thunderbird
if all that users are on the same MAILSERVER there is no point to have multiple roundcube URLs but frankly you can setup as many aliases as you want - *but* they all would access the same MAILSERVER and so any user known on that mailserver is valid
The point would be that each person responsible for each domain is able to view his emails at his domain (e.g. domain1.com/webmail to view joe@domain1.com, or domain2.com/webmail or view john@domain2.com) rather than having to go to differentdomain.com/webmail to view those emails.
I understand that it would be the case that both Joe and John (in the example) could access their emails via either URL, and I'm happy with that.
I just wanted help on (ideally, exactly) what alias I would have to use (in mydirectory/domain1_com and in mydirectory/domain2_com) so that a single Roundcube installation (in mydirectory) could be accessed via either www.domain1.com/webmail or www.domain2.com/webmail
Thanks in advance,
Jon
