Hi Thomas and all,<br>I am running svn trunc version of rc!<br>This is testing infrastructure.<br>The &quot;larry&quot; theme works well. Especially from the point of view of address books and email composition.<br>Plugin issues so far, nothing major but sometimes I get some complains on the config file locations.<br>
<br>My major concern is to improve speed of screens reloading.<br>For some reason RC is now taking couple more seconds to load mail screen (inbox) and in general all oprations are taking at least a 1 to 2 sec more.<br>this is kind of too long. At the end when I click on compose I receive new email compose template in 6-7 seconds.<br>
Just too long.<br>Also memcache (if I change db to memcache:port) in main.inc.php RC will not start and no log files are written.<br><br>I am trying to speed up (cache) or do anything to imporve RC loading of the svn trunc version screens.<br>

With the just published version 0.8-beta we proudly release the all<br>
new user interface design of Roundcube, codename &quot;Larry&quot; out into the<br>
wild. It isn&#39;t enabled by default but you can easily enable and test<br>
the new look by setting $rcmail_config[&#39;skin&#39;] = &#39;larry&#39;; in your<br>

Some plugins may not yet provide templates and styles for the new<br>
skin, so expect certain things to appear broken. We hereby kindly<br>
invite all plugin developers to adapt their plugins to the new skin.<br>

Said that, we&#39;d also like to mention that Internet Explorer 6 is no<br>
longer supported from this version on. Roundcube itself still works<br>
with IE6 but the new skin doesn&#39;t and we&#39;ll officially drop IE6<br>
support anytime soon. It has just been around for too long...<br>
<br>
Beside the new UI, this version also contains some bugfixes and<br>
improvements (see <a href="http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog" target="_blank">http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog</a>) as well as<br>
some code refactorings.<br>
These can potentially break some plugins if they use calls to renamed<br>
or refactored functions. Please watch your logs and in case you should<br>
notice any errors, please report them to the according plugin<br>
developers.<br>

In addition to the technical and visual changes, starting with this<br>
release, Roundcube is now licensed under the GNU General Public<br>
License (GPL) Version 3 or later (with exceptions for skins &amp; plugins)<br>
as we recently announced on our website: <a href="http://roundcube.net/license" target="_blank">http://roundcube.net/license</a>.<br>
<br>
Please note that this is a beta release and we recommend to test it in<br>
a separate environment. The new skin most likely requires some more<br>
CSS hacking until we&#39;re ready for the 0.8 stable release. Please<br>
