I did nor mean the option in preferences. When you are logged in, there is a option "compact" placed underneath of your folder list. When you click this option and reload Roundcube, the zombie mails are gone. For me this works fine. Sure it is not good at all, that the mails are shown when they have been deleted. Perhaps this is fixed in the new release, which is out since a few days.
