What is your IMAP server?
Dovecot 1.0.15 on Debian Lenny.
Did you checked with enable_caching=false?
Yes, than it seems to work properly.
Did you try with current svn-trunk version?
Not yet.
Enable imap_debug option and sent IMAP conversation debug here.
