That will work fine for your webmail, I suppose, but I believe the larger point here is that if your mail server is advertising a capability that it does not provide, a lot of e-mail clients are going to have problems with it.

so far, I can't fix the problem unless re-configure imap server, can I?
I just thought if there was configuration to choose auth type for imap.
Anyway, I commented out a few lines about cram-md5 auth in
'program/lib/imap.inc' and it's working fine so far.
I'll see if it's ok.
