When accessing our RoundCube install from the Safari browser on an
iPhone or iPod Touch there are no scroll bars in the message list
leaving the majority of messages inaccessible. I've attached a screen
capture. In the lower right it indicates that messages 1 to 100 of 268
are being displayed, but the number of message visible is less than 50
with no way to scroll to the others.
Is there a patch or something that needs to be done to enable scroll
bars on a mobile device. The bars show up as expected when using a
desktop browser.

As a workaround, reduce the number of messages in "Personal settings"=>"Preferences"=>"Rows per page".

Yes, I have our configuration file set to 20 messages per screen.
I would be interested in any other iPhone interface issues, one of my
back-burner projects is a iPhone-friendly theme.
( I made the patch for the "open message" button specifically for
iPhone use. )

Call me naive, but .. with RCU needing imap; and map being available on mobile devices in a "native" format, what is the fascination with RCU on iphones and the like?
Not trying to start a flame war or anything, just .. wondering. :-)

When we suggested that to a user who was complaining about this, he responded that it would be nice to borrow someone else's iPhone and use Safari on it to check his mail.
Here's his message:

Our main mail server is protected inside our internal network.
Our outside mail server only relays in and out, there are no user
accounts facing the Internet.
Webmail via RoundCube allows us to selectively expose accounts on the
internal mail server.
