Hello everyone,
are there any of you that run a CalDAV/Calendar server that's somehow integrated in Roundcube?
If so:
I would be happy to get a bit of feedback to get a feel for the current state of things.
Cheers, Robert

The best solution in this subject is Kolab Groupware which integrates Roundcube and superb Kolab Calendar plugin and provides Activesync, CalDAV, CardDAV, WebDAV access out of the box.
We use the plugins from myroundcube.com paired with a sabredav server successfully for thousands of users.

If so:
- Which one did you pick and why?
- How is it working out?
- Does sync with other clients (iOS/Android/Thunderbird) work?
- Which plugin(s) are required?
- Are there a lot of support requests?
I would be happy to get a bit of feedback to get a feel for the current state of things.

Hi,
As I'm very interested in this topic, I have a few more questions:
Is the "Kolab Groupware" freeware and also available for Windows?
Are we talking about https://kolab.org?
Thanks Konrad

MyRoundcube is dead. The developers shut down the server and left for good.

It is freeware and open source. No, Kolab does not work on Windows as it uses components like postfix or cyrus-imap. The Calendar plugin itself should work on Windows, but the point is to have the whole suite with Activesync/DAV components, right? And these will not work without Kolab (at least not without heavy changes in code).

Yes. There's also commercial version with support from http://kolabsystems.com and hosted service at http://kolabnow.com.
This is what expected... I'm a Windows only guy ;-)
At the moment, I'm using the MyRoundcube plugins for CalDav and CardDav combined with Radicale as server. It's a nice little lightweight CalDav Server also running on Windows. The only problem is that MyRoundcube does not exist anymore (as mentioned in my other mail). So I'm pretty much stuck with what I have now (no updates and stuff anymore).

How about that, they're gone. Was there a reason for ending the project?

As far as I know, they shutdown the server and "just left" without saying a word about it. Not really a nice thing, if you ask me.
