Hi everyone,
I'd like to use reject_non_fqdn_hostname in my Postfix configuration, but unfortunately Roundcube insists on sending the following from to the server: static.<myiphere>.clients.your-server.de
This of course promptly gets rejected. Why does it do this and how can I change it?

It doesn't do this for me. My postfix logs show from as I'd expect.
Further, be careful when tying dns to smtp. I understand you're
probably trying to fight spam, but intermittent outages will result
in the loss of legitimate mail. IMHO blacklists are marginally better
since you accept unless rather than reject unless. Also, many places
simply have broken dns entries.
