I have Roundcube 0.9.5 installed on Debian 7.6. Due to it was slow I read a tuning guide which recommended installing Alternative PHP Cache for apache.

I installed and enabled it with pretty much default config and I think it did improve on the performance of the server but users started experiencing problem with the search function of the mails. I'm not 100% sure it was caused by APC.

Errors:

• Roundcube search sometimes when find messages is not able to open them
• Messages which were moved from the Inbox to other folders manually are not appear there
• When opening a specific letter (result of a search) it loads in another one in its body

After these errors I decided removing APC and manually deleting roundcube's index files. Did anybody experience similar errors?
