I was wondering if there was a way for me to preview the email; either via a panel or via a JS popup? The IMP version I'm using uses the popup preview and I can quickly scan the text of the mail without opening it. In fact it is the one item I consider most important.

Ping. If not already available is it being considered? A preview panel would be nice under the list of messages for the message you currently have highlighted similar to Y!Mail.

The SVN version has a preview pane.
