I believe I am not getting some messages and that they are going to my Junk folder. How can I change my settings to see what is in my Junk folder? It always shows it is empty.

Roundcube is just an email client. If there are things in your Junk folder, they will be visible. There are no settings in Roundcube that can make them not visible.

what happend if using another email client ?

to get it more clear, the roundcube is just a folder that is in roundcube marked as a specialfolder, if its not have that as a specialfolder, it would still be a folder if its subscribed
