Hello Mailinglist,
I’m trying to get Roundcube 1.0.2 to run.
I’m using nginx-1.6.1_1,2 with php55-5.5.16. I access Roundcube via SSL, using Chrome, (Mobile) Safari or Firefox.
With all browsers I get the message “Your session is invalid or expired.” when trying to log in. Clearing the cache did not help. Curiously even with debugging, no errors are logged.
Google seems useless in this case, the most common issue may be the timezone, which I checked.
I’m stuck here and would appreciate any helpful input!
Thank you,
Sebastian

Hello,
IMHO it's just because when logged in on Roundcube, you don't Logout before closing the tab, going on another website, etc… So your browser try to use the previous session, as you weren't properly disconnected, but it's expired, and it just tells you that.
Yeah. The same thing happens if you leave RC logged in and your laptop goes into standby therefore not refreshing the session.

This is a fresh installation, never used before. Even when trying to log in after flushing all local caches / cookies this happens. There is no initial successful login. The Mysql Tables suggest that authentication was successful though.
If I have not conveyed that I'm stuck on the login screen, I hope this is clear now.
I'll provide session logs / sql logs this evening. (I'm from Germany.)

Hello there, As promised, here are the steps to reproduce my issue.
Safari > Reset Safari > all Checkboxes on > everything is cleared (Cookies, Caches)
At this point, there are no sessions in the database, nor are there sessions in the vHosts session directory.
Now open Roundcube Webinterface over HTTPS in Safari, try to log in with my imap credentials.
In red text beneath the login boxes “Your session is invalid or expired.” appears.
The following logs are generated.
Again, I want to stress that this is a new installation, this is my second try in one year to get past this bug. The forum seems mostly dead, so you are my only hope.
