Recently my mailbox went from being 25% to 81% full very quickly. I use this email address for business so it's very important I add more mailbox space. How can I do so?

You're asking the wrong people. You need to contact the people who operate/manage your Roundcube server.

delete more mails is the simplest way, but realize that roundcube is just a mail client for mailstore, in other words ask your email provider of more mailstore, some users using roundcube with gmail imap accounts and get no problems doing so :)
