Hello, I've just upgraded from 0.4.2 to 0.5-RC. I would like to report a considerable slowing down of the imap connection (dovecot 2.0.7) in case 'imap_auth_type' is not specifically defined (CRAM-MD5 in my case), while the default null value was working fine with the 0.4.2 version.
Regards Roberto Puzzanghera

This might be a dovecot's (config?) issue. Enable imap_debug in Roundcube and you'll see what's going on.

disabling digest-md5 in dovecot solved with 0.5-RC. I noticed that in roundcube 0.4.2 digest-md5 is not available (right?) so the connection goes straight to cram-md5 without problems.
Thanks for your answer Best regards Roberto Puzzanghera

Right.
