I saw in the archives that others where having this same problem. Was there a solution posted? Using Roundcube 20051021 build, dovecot .99 I'm able to telnet into dovecot and login without issue. When I attempt to login through RoundCube I get: Login Failed * CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 SORT THREAD=REFERENCES MULTIAPPEND UNSELECT LITERAL+ IDLE CHILDREN LISTEXT LIST-SUBSCRIBED NAMESPACE AUTH=PLAIN cp01 OK Capability completed. Tried PLAIN: Resource id #25 My dovecot log shows a successful login when I am receiving this error from RoundCube. On the other hand, this is a brand new DoveCot install and I have never used IMAP with my mail server. I wonder if the other people who were receiving this error where able to resolve it? Any help is appreciated. Thank you! Randy

Good call. I checked and these are my settings in main.inc.php: $rcmail_config['auto_create_user'] = TRUE; $rcmail_config['default_host'] = 'ssl://mail.wyldwolf.org:993'; Will setting the auto_create_user to false stop this from happening? Hello Sven, I think this might be solved by adding "index.php" within your IIS server configuration. You can define what IIS will take as default index (default: default.htm) and deliver to the user. You can add "index.php" by going to the properties screen of your "Default Website" (or for you in german: "Standard Website") and adding "index.php" under Directory. Hope this solves this issue for you. Roundcube Build 0.1-20051021 Problem: None of the self-referencing links in RoundCube does work with Internet Information Services (IIS) in Windows XP (SP2). Adressing fails with HTML Error 405. Solution: Change all links from "./" to "index.php" - or directly to the full path of the current shown page represented by $_SERVER["PHP_SELF"]. I.E.: - ./index.php: old: $COMM_PATH = sprintf('index.php?_auth=%s&_task=%s', $sess_auth, $_task); new: $COMM_PATH = sprintf('./?_auth=%s&_task=%s', $sess_auth, $_task); - ./skins/default/templates/login.htm(l): old: "./" new: "index.php - All other references to "./" as links must be replaced with "index.php" as well.

Forgive if I am wrong but i think line 63 in rcube_db.inc is PHP4 compability code, because of that I thaught you were using PHP4. Default language for new users (new feature)

Hello. I've written a very small patch that adds the following feature: * when a new user logs in for the first time and a new user is created in the DB, the default language for this user is now written correctly.Thevalue of the default language is taken from $CONFIG['locale_string'] (the "locale_string" value of the main configuration file) The file patched is: * /program/include/main.inc the function patched are: * rcmail_create_user * rcmail_create_user I've posted the patch on the sourceforge.net <http://sourceforge.net> patch tracker too. Problem with DB connection in 0.1-20051021

Hello Folks I tryed first to update from the 0.1-20051007 to 0.1-20051021 it resulted an error 500 first. I fixed this problem due deleting the .htaccess file, because my server disallow some commands over .htaccess files... Today i deleted the wole stuff and setup new. I Fixed the 500 Server Error by editing the main .htaccess file --snip oldfile- php_flag display_errors On php_value session.gc_maxlifetime 21600 php_value session.gc_divisor 500 php_value upload_max_filesize 2m <FilesMatch "(\.inc|\~)$|^_"> Order allow,deny Deny from all </FilesMatch> Order deny,allow Allow from all --/snip oldfile-- --snip newfile-- <FilesMatch "(\.inc|\~)$|^_"> Order allow,deny Deny from all </FilesMatch> Order deny,allow Allow from all --/snip newfile-- Now i'm stuck by this error... DB Error in /webmail2/program/include/rcube_db.inc (63): DB Error: not found Fatal error: Call to undefined method DB_Error::query() in /webmail2/program/include/rcube_db.inc on line 124 Does anyone know what causes this error? Not saving settings

I've got a fresh install of 0.1-20051021 running. So far everything seems to be going great (with the exception of the include_path error in index.php) except that each time I Logout and Log back in I loose everything that (I assume) is in the database. This includes contacts, settings & identies. I didn't see anyone else post about this since yesterday - so is anyone else having a similar problem? Thanks, Kevin Kelley

I cut & paste that line from the last release index.php to the newest release index.php and everything worked fine.
