Hi folks!
Today a workmate asked me for help with sending textfiles as attachments
to e-mails because he wasn't able to download the attached files on the
target machine.
After a lot of trying and debugging we found out some quite interesting
things which I would like to discuss here.
Thunderbird, Outlook, etc. do all support showing the plain text
attachments inline + showing them as (downloadable) attachments.
The webinterfaces of GMX, Gmail, etc. don't support this while Horde's
Imp (I think this is what most universities and most Austrian providers
use) works fine with plaintext attachments, e.g. you can see the
attachments inlined after the original message and you can download them
file by file as attachments.
As to my understanding, this is the expected behaviour. I tried with
Roundcube (probably not the latest version I have to admit) and it
behaved exactly the same as all other webmails did: No chance to
download the plaintext files separately.
What do you guys think about it? Personally I think it would make sense
to implement this and allow for downloading plain text attachments - or
is this functionality already implemented in the latest roundcube
version?
ciao,

Hi everybody
I'm happy to "officially" announce what most of you already might have noticed.
Till became an important project member during the last year and he
meanwhile is in the position to answer questions and make decisions
just as I am. Therefore it was time to change his official position
accordingly. I'd like to thank Till for his contribution to RoundCube
and his endurance to stay with us. Keep it up!
Best regards,
Thomas

Hey Guys,
I couldn't help but notice that all the open bugs on 0.1-stable are
finally closed in trac. Any word yet on when the release is coming?
I don't want to pry, I am just curious.
:-)

Hi everyone,
here is the de_DE translation zipped up.
In the current translation are some heavy errors, so i hope you'll update
this. It would be simply embarrassing to leave the errors.
Thanks a lot!
Marcel

NetOne,
I created this ticket for you:
http://trac.roundcube.net/ticket/1484778
We can't use your files, they are not UTF-8. Please try again.
Also, this time *please* upload them yourself to the ticket.
I need this by Monday (better Sunday night!), otherwise there is no
Bulgarian in 0.1-stable.
Please use this to do your translation:
http://translator.roundcube.net/
Thanks,
Till
