Mail remains unread

while upgrading I recreated all databases and ran cvs update. Everything worked like a charm. HOWEVER, I found one very nasty bug after doing that. Roundcube no more marks messages as read after the update. I can read messages alright and even though it's been marked read after clicking the blue star --- as soon as I reload the page, all previously read messages are back in black. It's not IMAP issue as whenever I wipe the database clean those e-mails correctly became read messages. pr -- --- Blog -- http://fm.ee/pronto/

I'm setting up tortoise CVS for the roundcube dev on sourceforge. However, following their instructions I keep being prompted for a password. Can someone let me know what the correct configuration is? --Geuis

Trash can count not updating on delete

Not sure if this has been addressed yet. The issue is that when Roundcube gets an unread count from the IMAP server it's only specifying that messages must be unread, not that they must not have been deleted. So if the messages have both the unread and deleted flags they still show up in the count even after they have been deleted from the trash can. Well I tend to agree with this issue. In my configuration I have some sub-subdirectories, and it is sometimes rather confusing. I'm well aware that my configuration is not the current one for everybody, although, the solution may be a kind of "splitbar".. Would it be possible ? compose bug

Hi, I've just been tracking down a bug with the mail compose that I found when clicking on the mail address from my nephew. He's at college and has an email of the form 'sshh123(a)somewhere.co.uk'. When I clicked this I was getting SQL syntax errors appearing on the screen. I tracked it down to the compose.inc module, the 'to' case in function rcmail_compose_headers($attrib). The preg_match line has the regexp /[0-9]+,?/ which matches with my nephew's email, causing the sql query to be run (ideally the contact_id could be quoted to prevent syntax errors). Anyway, since I assume the code is meant to be looking for only numbers or lists of numbers, I suggest the following change to the regexp: /^([0-9]+,?)+/ I've tested this against various inputs and it's doing what I think the code should be doing! You may be interested to know that I started using this project as a front end to my mail backup. I have a Perl script running every 5 mins that grabs my mail from my ISP and stores the mails in a MySQL database. I've written a replacement for 'imap.inc' that performs all of the IMAP commands on my database. It's all working well (so far). I'm now using this combination as my main mail client. Cheers, Steve

Cannot see some message text

Hello - I saw another post about this problem sent some time back, but it was never answered. Basically, it seems as though some, not sure if all, reply messages sent from an Outlook 2003 client do not show up. If I had emailed the user (via Outlook 2003) and then they responded (via Outlook 2003), the latest text from the does not show up. However, I can see the reply text divider, and the previous message text under the divider. I just can't see the latest response. I just started clicking around the message, causing blue highlight to popup everywhere, and it seems like the message is under there somewhere. Now at the top of the message I see the following as well: #messagebody st1\:*{behavior:url(#default#ieooui) } It appears this may be an issue with the Outlook/HTML/The divider? Any way to get around this? Other than that it works great with other messages. BTW, I just installed the latest CVS this morning hoping this would solve it, but it didn't. Thanks, Max

unable to read japanese messages

The installation went well. Default language for roundcube was set to 'ja'. The menus appear in japanese, as expected, however actual e-mails won't display their japanese text... it just comes out garbled. The browsers are fully set to view japanese text. Any ideas on how to get the messages in japanese to be viewable?

Non standard SMTP port

Hello Everybody, I've been trying to setup RoundCube and am finding that once I setup a non-standard SMTP port I'm no longer able to send any e-mail. Has anybody confirmed if this works or not?? My SMTP server is not on the same server as the webserver and the typical port 25 is blocked to my SMTP server. Any help on that would be appreciated. George
