I have the exact same problem! In my INBOX (with >26000 messages) nothing happens if I try to open (double click) any of the messages, I get bumped back to the login screen after a while, just as you described. (Marking a message and clicking Reply or Forward works fine!) Other than that the performance is much better now. Check number of new e-mails without actually going into the system

So the subject kinda sums it up. I have a link in the header of my site called "Mail" which leads to the roundcube system, but what I'd like is if you have new emails it says "Mail (##)" with the number of unread messages. The biggest (or maybe just first) hurdle I see is in authentication. The whole point of this is so you don't have to click mail and login if you don't have any new messages to begin with, so if they don't login how do you know what the account is? Well, all users must be logged in to my site to begin with and their usernames/passwords are the same for both the site and the roundcube system, so if there is some way to pass a username/password into some roundcube function and check for unread messages, that's the most logical solution I see, but even if that's possible I don't know the code for roundcube well enough to do that? Ideas/suggestions/comments? Has anyone done this or tried to? Or perhaps a better question is 'is something like this planned for a future release?' Thanks, Tim

I just got this strange error: Warning: fopen(temp/d035681a53baea32579f544f677849f6/) [function.fopen.html]: failed to open stream: Is a directory in /home/web/spider007.net/webmail/roundcubemail/program/steps/mail/func.inc on line 1207 PHP Error in [...]roundcubemail/program/steps/mail/func.inc (1214): Failed to write to temp dir It seems that, for some strange reason on some strange messages, $message_id is not set, therefore this line in roundcubemail/program/steps/mail/func.inc fails: $cache_path = $cache_dir.'/'.$message_id; might it be a good idea to return false if message_id is not set, it seems that to me that the caching is not vital for the functioning of Roundcube? Big Error in RoundCube

Hello, I use the 20051021 from several weeks now. All work fine until today. I have this error on the top page (see below). When I log, I see the Inbox, I read a mail and when I use "Back to message list", the inbox appear empty. I have to do a logout. Any idea ? This email is an example of one of my other posts that I thought was mia. The sender is unknown, at least gmail was able to pick up on the time, and headers in the body of the email. Any known solutions to this problem? Rob ---------------------------

rapidly clicking on trash logs you out

I'm doing things no one ordinarily would do. Still, fyi. rapidly clicking on the trash will sometimes log you out. I was only able to produce this effect once though.

Well, my question still remains about whether it's blocked by a SMTP server or php's mail functions. If Apache's mod_security thought you were trying to spoof e-mail headers (which it looked like the portion you couldn't send was composed of), it might not allow you to send it, and feed you back a 406.
