A little problem

Hi, I just working with round cube for a couple of days, but i encounter a little problem for me. I use both evolution an round cube to connect to a imap server, but after trying round cube, when i connect using evolution, i can't see inbox messages on it. But, i can see trash and send items in a right way. Anyone have an explain for it? Thanks for all. Regards. Jose

some bugs?

Hi all. I tried the RC from the latest CVS (3/11/2005 7:00am) with postgresql as backend database and I get some errors. If I use Firefox 1.0.7 I get the message : "Your browser does not accept cookies" and , off course, the browser has the cookies enabled. In MS Iexplorer: With $rcmail_config['enable_caching']='TRUE'; blank screen and in error log I get "/var/www/html/horde/program/include/rcube_db.inc on line 148", then I configure it to FALSE. I tried with $rcmail_config['db_backend'] set to db When I try to send a mail w/o identities, I get a error message that says the message have not sender. Then I insert 1 contact, I get the error: *DB Error in /var/www/html/horde/program/include/rcube_db.inc (189):* DB Error: unknown error SERVICE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE! DB Error: unknown error and get 2 contacts inserted, I eliminate 1 and then I can send the message. If I try to insert a new identity I get the same message but the record is inserted. If I try to insert a contact, I get the error: [03-Nov-2005 11:57:07 +0100] DB Error: DB Error: unknown error; QUERY: INSERT INTO contacts (user_id, name, firstname, surname, email) VALUES (?, 'aa', 'aa', 'aa', 'aa') in /var/www/html/horde/program/include/rcube_db.inc on line 148 [03-Nov-2005 11:57:07 +0100] DB Error: DB Error: unknown error in /var/www/html/horde/program/include/rcube_db.inc on line 189 and no contact are inserted. For other hand, I hope this project have exit. I don´t know well php , so I don´t create patches, but have the possibility of do some test with postgresql and oracle as databse and Courierr as imap server. Feel free to send patches, demand logs, the environ is for test purposing and have not problem to do or change server config, php config, etc... .... The system is RedHat 4 AS with php 4.3.9-38 from the redhat rpm´s.

Error: Your session is invalid or expired

Hi people, I'm trying the RoundCube to take out the SM from my server. I configured it at all but when i try to loging i get this error: Error: Your session is invalid or expired I see my CourierIMAP log and it shows the conection LOGED IN. Timeout connecting to IMAP service

Good morning, I am a big fan of roundcube and am looking to use it as much as possible, but am having issues connecting to the IMAP service on my server. Deployment Details: Php 5.0.5 on Windows 2003 server with apache 2.0.55 Most recent release of Roundcube (roundcubemail-0.1-20051021) MailEnable Professional Email service with IMAP service active on port 143. I see successful authentication in the mail server's logs so roundcube appears to be successfully connecting to the server, but receive the following error after successful auth. Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in C:\roundcubemail-0.1-20051021\program\lib\imap.inc on line 104 I've looked at that file a bit, but make neither heads nor tails of it... I'm a Java Dev, not PHP :-( So my question is, what can I do to debug this problem? I don't expect you to be wizards that just poof solve the problem... far from it. If you'd just get me going towards debugging I'd greatly appreciate it and will repost as I go through the exploration process. Thanks, Brian Greene

A quick look and hack a the source reveals a pretty tight integration to an SQL database. Is anyone currently working on this? I might be able to help out. Adhamh

User Account question

Hi, I've been lurking on the list for a while, reading some interesting conversations :) But now I have a question, after having used roundcube for a bit now. After initial install, I could log into the app with a valid mailserver user, however, I tried logging in later using a different account, and this failed. I added that account to the users table in mysql, which fixed the problem; I could log in the other account after that. Now my plan is to use this for multiple virtually hosted domains, with each domain having probably a max of 10 seperate mail accounts. Do I need to add every single one of them in the users table? For me, this is unneccessary and unwanted extra administration of the domains, where I think that every valid mail account on the mailserver should simply be allowed access, given that the proper username/pass/domain is supplied. Am I wrong in thinking this? Or did I just miss something obvious? For the rest, great little app, glad I found it before I decided to go play with that Zimbra loaded stuff... :) Regards, Michiel Oosterling

Fix for sqlite and session problems

So the session table isn't being created when you use sqlite as the database type. Problem with sending messages

Everytime I send a message I get the following error: Warning: fopen(./logs/sendmail): failed to open stream: Keine Berechtigung in /var/www-secure/html/roundcube/program/steps/mail/sendmail.inc on line 252 do I need some special write permissions on my logs directory? Also, even with the error, the message goes throuhg, however, it doesn't show up properly, it doesn't show the name of the sender, and some of the mail header information ends up in the body of the message. Here is an example:
