SQL errors with large inboxes

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, I recently started taking a look at RoundCube to handle me webmail and must say that I really like the interface. Much cleaner and easier to use than any webmail I've seen to date (including commercial varieties). One problem I noticed immediately, however, is that I get SQL errors with large mailboxes. I'm not sure exactly what the upper limit is, but I had 2000+ emails in my inbox and it seems that roundcube was attempting to issue a very large insert into the cache table. That entry failed. I moved some mail around to see if it was an issue w/ the number of emails in my inbox and was able to get the error to go away by reducing the size of my inbox. As I said, I don't know what the upper limit is, but for mailboxes with only a couple hundred emails in them it works just fine. Wow...this is nice....but....no upper menu ????

This is really nice but I'm getting no upper menu. I did a CVS checkout today so I know I have the latest and greatest and didn't find anything in the archives. Anyone have a similar problem ? I log in fine and can read/compose emails but I have no upper menu to set preferences or the logout button. I'm not getting any logs on errors either from the web server or from the app. Hmmm...I am running php5 on this box...could that be it ?????

Non-Validating SSL Certificate

I have courier-imap working over SSL, however I do not have a valid SSL certificate. It seem that I cannot use ssl:// in the configuration to have roundcube webmail connect over an ssl connection - something I would much prefer. I have everything working (using courier-imap w/o SSL) - is this something that is coming? It could be added into the configuration similar to other projects ssl-no-validate:// or so. Thanks.

Delete Functionality

In many email clients, when you delete a message, you go on to the next message. Or at least, that is a possible option. Is this something that could and/or should be added to roundcube? ~Dianoga

No, user login data and addressbook data arestill stored within the database. Hello, So I read the "performance" is at least one of the reasons caching is on. Can this be elaborated on? It seems to be that this is actually adding overhead as the bottleneck for getting messages will likely not be roundcube accessing the imap server, but the clients accessing roundcube. It is possible to access the IMAP server (cyrus) directly and not use caching? Please CC me as I am not on the list. Thanks, Adhamh
