Courier support?

Hi, I've installed RoundCube, and works ok, except by the fact it doesn't show the body of the emails. I suspect it can be a problem with the Courier-IMAP server. Actually, the theme and plugin API are seperate. The plugin API, i think, just provides hooks for plugins to execute their functions throughout their programs. The theme api basically consists of xml template tags inbetween xhtml, so I don't think that the plugin api will affect the themes. Anybody working on and/or interested in a preview pane like outlook and thunderbird? I don't have the skills to code it at the moment (although I may be learning more to help with this project) but it is definitely something I would like to see. ~Dianoga

IMAP-UW - Problems with plaintext login

Are there any know issues with imap-uw? When I attempt to log in I see in my maillog: Oct 14 12:25:59 firewall imapd[60509]: Login user=mikej host=firewall.mikej.com [10.0.0.3] Oct 14 12:25:59 firewall imapd[60509]: Logout user=mikej host=firewall.mikej.com [10.0.0.3] Which tells me that authentication successed... but RoundCube displays "login denied". I tried increasing loging to 8 and see: * CAPABILITY IMAP4REV1 LITERAL+ IDLE NAMESPACE MAILBOX-REFERRALS BINARY UNSELECT SCAN SORT THREAD=REFERENCES THREAD=ORDEREDSUBJECT MULTIAPPEND SASL-IR LOGIN-REFERRALS STARTTLS AUTH=LOGIN cp01 OK CAPABILITY completed Tried PLAIN: Resource id #23 Thanks! --mikej

Dave: If I find a solution I'll post back. As a suggestion to the webmaster it would have been nice if the dorkzilla archive was listed on the web page in the "mailing list" section. Select - All / Delete

Hey I notice... I think this should be the first thing they make to add to it since this is pretty important to some people who are hosting email accts on limited spaces. Seems that it might be benefitcal for them to add a select all / or delete all function to the trash can or folder since the typcial user just tends to hit the delete button which lands it in the trash then in order to delete the all from the trash can they'd have to select these emails 1 by 1 in the trash can and hit the delete button then select the next email.... hehe just a lil bug i guess... But still I would like to see this webmail package grow! Is there already a delete all function in this webmail package that I missed?? Cheers! Jason

setup/login problems....

i'm a brand new user so bear with me please. i just downlaoded and "installed" roundcube, epr teh directions in the INSTALL file. however, when i go to login, the page just sits there, attempting to load and never does. (i click "login", in the status bar it says contacting whatever.host.com, and just sits there). roundcube is running on the same box as the mailserver/imap (which is psotfix/dovecot if it makes a diffrence). i connect normally with ssl, so in the config file i have : ssl://localhost:993 for teh default host. am i missing anything? are there any apache config changes i should have to make? i am testing this from an OSX box runnign safari right now, but the same happened last night with firefox on linux, so i doubt its that. thanks. matt nicholson sjoeboo(a)sjoeboo.com
