Hi Thomas, Hi Till
have you ever thought to apply to GSoC? Google is accepting request to participate as mentoring organization just now. They will close subscription 12 March.
I think it could be a great occasion to have many developers to work full time on roundcube. And it is a great occasion to have some money back from your work on roundcube.
Think about applying to GSoC. If you need more informations, just ask. :)

Hey Yusef,
this is a great idea. And personally, I'd rather mentor someone doing it, but I don't have time to do this full time. At least not this year. :)

If you have not enough time, it could be a problem. But think that you or Thomas could act only as the Organization Administrator. You are not obliged to mentor anyone, so you don't need so much time. :) You can choose some RC developers (at least they don't have to be RC devs but you have to trust them) to act as mentors.
Anyway, as I read, you are quite decided to not participate. I'm looking for a project to (try to) be involved during this GSoC and RC is a very great project. I like really much your work and all the people who are working on it.
Hoping for the GSoC '09 :)

Well. Yeah, I'll hit up some people who mentored already and will ask them what they think.
So far no one expressed any interest in it. I bet we could even take on someone who is not a RoundCube developer yet, but wants to do something for the project. At least I see no problem if he/she has contributed some code or at least supply some references and nice idea to implement. That'd be something.
