just found this project on freshmeat and thought i'd give it a go since SquirrelMail is starting to look a bit dated ( tho it works like a charm ). wasn't sure how to search the list archives, so apologies if this has been covered, but can i connect to my IMAP server via STARTTLS? "ssl://server:993" obviously isn't doing the trick in the config file.

Is there a good way to make it so the folders are checked for new messages every x amount of time? And, when they see that there is new messages, the folder updates with those messages. Currently, if you stay at the page for an extended period of time and then click on Inbox (or any other folder), if it has new messages the folder listing will update, but the messages will not show up unless you refresh the page
