Hi All,
I have been using roundcube for a well now and actively promoting it, in that light i have decided to make humble contributions to the project where i can.
I have built a rpm package as my projects involve automated installations most times via kickstart installing the package via the tar ball would require much more scripting so i built an rpm package.
Well i have searched the tickets and list to see if any rpm initiatives are already in place and i have not found any, please let me know if any exists if not then am willing to host the spec file, src rpm and binary rpms for end users who would prefer to install via rpm.

There was some discussion about it but I nobody really started with it:

I have taken alot at those initiatives, nothing was ever released since march last year.
I have taken a different approach though, as a believe population of the db's is a configuration issue. what my package does is place the files in the right place set permissions and configure apache. The end user has to configure the roundcube config files and populate what ever db they want to use. The sql scripts are how ever available in /usr/share/doc/roundcube-0.1/SQL for them to use.
Please find attached the spec file, Thomas if u give me the go ahead i can upload files to be available for users to download if u can kindly provide a link to them

Hi,
i have created a debian package for etch or sid.
You can download all required files from: http://download.lordlamer.de/roundcube/
Not all files with their licence are listed in the copyright! This is need to be checked. Also the dependencies for this package.
So this is a package for testing. If you are interested in this package or have any feedback. Mail me.
regards, Frank Habermann
