hey,
while i really like the idea to use icons for folder/select options at the bottom of page, i don't think that current icons integrate well with the rest of roundcube design.
i.e. the strong red should be changed to some more-blueish color. most used colors in roundcube are more or less related to blue, and even those which do use different colors (i.e. logout icon) aren't as strong and flashy as the newly introduced folder/select icons.
i'm by no means a graphics designer thus i'm not able to provide alternatives.
greetings, jonas

BTW I picked that color from a "new window" icon in a right upper corner of a preview pane ;) Thomas said that he will be discussing this with designers, so I hope it will be fixed in the future.

interestingly enough, the same icon exists in blue at the 'more actions' menu for action 'open new window'. i don't know whether the different colors where taken by mistake or by purpose, but in my eyes the red one should be changed to match the blue one.
with the release of rc 0.3 many icons and logos where changed from red to blue, maybe the 'open new window' icon from preview pane is a leftover.
apart from the color, i really like your icons. thanks for the work!

Yep, I simply didn't notice that one ;)

Hmm, but what about a red row-highlight background? Should it also be changed?

OK, I can add row 'UI designer' to my CV then ;) But it is still far from my abilities to change a color in an image...

changing the color is not a big issue. but chosing the right color is a very complicated task ;)
