I'm referring to the multipart7alternative message of Manfred Usselmann in this list, 23.03.2013, 08:51.
In the HTML part, the quote levels get incorrect upon replying (quoted and new text have the same quote level then, although they look ok when displaying the message), and there are blank lines in the quoted part of Manfred's message where they weren't in the original before.
But the text part is even worse: The format is totally garbled, and even more worse, a lot of text is completely missing.
Look at the line ...
Yes, that's what we currently
...for instance. Why is it formatted/wrapped this way if it is correct in the HTML part? And where is all the text gone?

As there was no response to the issue below yet - shall I open a ticket?
To me, the loss of data in the text part upon composing a HTML message with RC is a major issue. The incorrect quote levels may be be a minor issue, but are still an issue.
The message in question has been produced with RC 0.8.5, BTW.

The message was created with 0.8.5 and that's the problem. I did a test with 0.9 by replying to the same message as Manfred did. Now the sent message contains properly generated text part. I don't see any issues in it.

So you can confirm that there have been known issues and improvements in this regard between 0.8.5 and 1.0-git?
I'm asking because this problem might occur only when doing something "special" (saving and editing a draft or the like).
Anyway: What about producing incorrect quote levels upon quoting the HTML part of this message? This can't be a 0.8.5 issue, but a current issue.
Plus: What about these blank lines in the HTML part, has this been fixed as well? I'm seeing this effect in lots of HTML messages, not only in the ones produced by RC. My guess is that these MUAs are all using the same broken code library when quoting plain text and creating a HTML message.

I don't really care about every requested issue until it's described very well and bugtracker ticket exists.
