Hi guys,
New to the list, please forgive me if this is an old saw.
For those of us with large inboxes ... and I'm not naming names, here ... would not a more sensible default be to anchor on the 'most recent' unread message rather than 'last page'?
Otherwise, those people that I didn't name earlier have to scroll through their tiny tiny inboxes to find the offending new message.
Cheers (and great piece of work),
Matt
Personally, I prefer the current behavior because sometimes I will leave a message unread because I need to do something about it, but don't want to yet. But I still want to see my new messages, because this email could be pages back. The best option is to handle this like IMP, default to one or the other, and give the user the option.
