Localization update for European Dutch (nl_NL).
I've ran through all messages in messages.inc to end sentences with dots but labels.inc should still be checked for missing dots! Someone (not me, I'm no language expert) should take a look at all the messages for "currently occurring actions" There are many ways to write such sentences in Dutch and all ways are currently being used. One or two methods should be selected that can be used for all such entry's
It would be better if more messages that can apply to one or many items can be split (like "uploading" and "uploadingmany".) "contact(s)" Might work in English but in Dutch (and probably many more languages,) this isn't so easy. One would get: "contactpersoon / contactpersonen" (wich is very long and ugly to use all the time) or "contactperson(en)" (which isn't correct for one case) or "contactpersoon(en)" (which isn't correct for the other case).

How about:
Kontakt(en)

Well, with a C instead of a K then: Contact(en)
:-)

I did the same - completing the translation, adding dots, removing typos etc, back in September, see here:
http://lists.roundcube.net/mail-archive/dev/2011-09/0000010.html
but unfortunately the submission has not been put into SVN for 0.6, and it still is not there. @thomasb : I noticed you do the biggest part of all the language file commits, can you take care of this one as well?
@Peter: translating is difficult; counting and making that translatable is very difficult - in some languages you have different plural forms for 0, 1, some, and many. I resolved the 'uploading' bit as follows:
$messages['uploading'] = 'Bezig met uploaden...'; $messages['uploadingmany'] = 'Bezig met uploaden...';
