Gmail has an interesting (labs-only) feature when the tab is "pinned" in Chrome - the favicon displays a counter of unread email, which makes pinning your mail tab a very easy way to tuck it away but still unobtrusively notify of new mail. See: http://news.softpedia.com/news/Gmail-Unread-Messages-Icon-Now-in-Labs-180571...
I also keep both gmail and roundcube open all day - this would be a PERFECT feature to add.
Any other interest out there?
