Great to see a 'Search' box in there today - is this functional at
all, or
is it something we can 'turn' on in the prefs? If not, let us know
when/how
we can test it, I have some big maildirs to have it sift through!
After search and spellcheck I can convert my remaining users from SM.
What search box? Where?
Methinks he's refering to the latest cvs build :)

I just added a basic search function recently based on scripts by Benjamin Smith but I had some troubles committing all the files. SF gave me "connection refused" while uploading the files. Probably the search feature does not work properly if you just checked out from CVS. Please update your sandbox and test it. The search feature is not complete but it should work. By default subject and sender are searched but you can specify the target by typing something like "from:thomas" or "body:test". Allowed "keywords" are: from, to, cc, subject and body
Regards, Thomas

Hi Thomas,
I just checked out via CVS. I get several errors in my roundcube logs, saying the search.inc in program/steps/mail/ does not exist. Looks like it's not included in the current cvs... I suppose it just takes some time like we know it from sf CVS?
Anyway, great we get a search now ;)

I got that file in the last CVS up just a few minutes ago. Try updating again.
Very nice!

Very nice indeed.
When you click 'back to message list' from an e-mail that you clicked on from a search list, it goes back to the folder, but not the filtered version...

And if your search returns no results, clicking the 'x' doesn't reinstate the full list.
Not trying to be picky, I have waited ages for this search and I think it's wonderful!!
