Greetings,
I am running 20051007 with Courier IMAP (4.x), and am experiencing the following oddity:
If I attempt to open a new or unread message, the page will wait and wait, but nothing will happen. I tried this in both Firefox and IE, with the same results. I see this error in the error log:
[08-Okt-2005 16:51:35] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in /var/www/html/roundmail/program/lib/imap.inc on line 104
If I select the message and forward it, I am able to read the message in the forward window. Also, if I mark the message as "read" and then open it, it opens just fine.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi David, I have experienced this, both on Courier 4.x and Courier 2.2
It is repeatable for a given message, but not all messages display the behavior. The lib/imap.inc is the Iloha imap library, this may be a known issue with the library. I'll do some digging, but if anyone is already aware of root cause on this, I'd rather not rebuild the wheel.

Is there a reason why we picked the Ilohamail package, rather than the Mail_IMAP pear package? This one seems to be more actively developed..

Mail_IMAP requires the PHP extension to work, so I guess that was the main cause. However there is also from Pear the Net_IMAP package, which implements the IMAP protocol.
ciao, ivan
I have problems opening up aswell. Exact same thing as you are describing and I aswell are using courier.

I think theres going to alot more of this coming through shortly, because of cpanels push to get its users to update to it. We recently updated to courier tonight, and rendered RoundCube unusable until we could use a "dirty fix"

Yes, I'd like to hear it as well. All I can do currently is mark the message unread, then open it. A bit of a hassle...
