I wanted to see if there has been any progress towards server-side
filtering support (read: Sieve/timsieved) within Roundcube. If
nobody else has taken on this project, I wouldn't mind working on
"porting" the functionality in Horde's Ingo over to Roundcube. I
have not done much with PHP, but I'm a highly skilled Perl
programmer. I have been known to submit PHP patches to various
projects (PostfixAdmin, BASE) in the past, so I feel I'd be up to
it. Of course, the proof is in the pudding. :)
Thanks,

There's a ticket opened for that: http://trac.roundcube.net/trac.cgi/ticket/1483889

Yes, I saw that before I posted.
Please read the comments.
You just added that comment, don't make me sound like a n00b. ;-)

Right. I didn't know that you saw the ticket before. My advice to read the comment was not meant to blame you but there have been many discussions about such extensions and the plugin API and I didn't want to repeat all that in this post again.

It's cool. I'll search the devel archives for API discussions.
Thanks,
