well I actually switched from 0.1-beta to CVS because 0.1-beta doesn't check my folders properly for new e-mail - I had to click each of my folders to see if there were new messages. I didn't change any charset settings so the error is with the exact same config.

I would like to see it be committed also but as far as icons i prefer the text personally. As far as the weird chars or at least to know knowledge

I did have a ticket in our local issue tracker that said that after spell check there were extra weird characters, but I have yet to confirm this.
