Hello Everybody,
I've been trying to setup RoundCube and am finding that once I setup a non-standard SMTP port I'm no longer able to send any e-mail. Has anybody confirmed if this works or not?? My SMTP server is not on the same server as the webserver and the typical port 25 is blocked to my SMTP server.
Any help on that would be appreciated.
George
Ooopps, sorry. It's not the weird port causing the problems at all.
I'm having trouble adding recipients. I've got the following log error:
[04-Dec-2005 00:15:42 -0500] SMTP Error: SMTP error: Connection failed in /home/loeppky/loeppky.ca/webmail/program/steps/mail/sendmail.inc on line 216 [04-Dec-2005 00:16:24 -0500] SMTP Error: SMTP error: Failed to add recipient 'gforce@loeppky.ca
I believe my SMTP server is a qmail server. Is it possible that, that's causing a problem. I haven't tried it with sendmail.

I'm not really sure if it works on a non-standard SMTP port but it works with SSL(465).

There is nothing wrong with qmail unless its mis-configured. Were you able to send mail out using the SMTP server?
Yeah, I'm able send e-mail through the qmail server using Thunderbird.
Ok, well maybe there is a configuration issue.
Thanks anyway.
