Question about RoundCubeMail setup

Hello, I am new to the list and have a question. I've tried searching the list archives but, for some reason, the links don't do anything when I click on them. So please forgive me if I am asking a question that's been asked before and feel free to point me to an older post that might answer my question if appropriate. I'm setting up a very specialized email service that will ultimately need to support a few hundred thousand users or more. From looking at the code, I am left wondering if I need to install a separate IMAP server or does RoundCubeMail handle it all? If I do need to install an IMAP server, can anyone suggest one in particular? Right now, I'm seriously looking at Cyrus. Thanks! SMTP/TLS

Hi, I have a mail server running qmail-ldap and courier-imap. My SMTP is authenticated and uses TLS. Is there a way to Roundcube works with TLS ? Any help would be appreciated. Warm Regards, Mário Gamito

Wrong time for email

Hi everybody, First of all forgive my bad english. I'm having trouble with the hour displayed on a received message for example, i send a message at 20:00, it will apear as being received at 21:00. running roundcube on a different server from imap server

Greetings. Is it generally more efficient to run roundcube on the same server as the email (IMAP) server, or is it better to run from a different server? Thanks. kenn

RoundCube Loading without end

Friends, My RoundCube is twirling in a server who has the configured IMAP to collect the users and passwords in server LDAP. Until ai it is functioning very well, the problem is that constantly click in a folder for example and it is appearing a Loading without end. To come back it is necessary to pressure F5 (refresh) to come back to function. It also happens to detach alone. I am being worried, because I go to more than use the RoundCube with a net with 1000 users being used only the webmail. Some suggestion? Hi List IMAP Error : Authentication for test failed (AUTH) "a00 No user not found "Authentication for test failed (LOGIN) "A001 No Login failed authentication" is on line 0 I have created a IMAP user and password named test Thus tried user name - test(a)my.domain.com and test and password - 1234-1234 host - localhost I am pulling me hair out I have also had a look at main.inc.php I also tried the mysql user name - roundcube and passsword - password No joy. Hi list I am running SuSE 10 Linux, PHP 4.40. Apache 2, mysql Ver 14.7 Distrib 4.1.13, for suse-linux (x86_64) using readline 5.0 But I am having issues with a PHP error [07-Feb-2007 10:41:04] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_set_save_handler() in /srv/www/htdocs/roundcube/program/include/session.inc on line 152 Thus when I type in the browser http://localhost/roundcube I get a black page and no apache 2 errors But I get the above in ~roundcube/logs/errors. I have checked my /etc/php.ini files and I haven't got a session_set_save_handler parameter. Please advice as I'm getting close to my deadline and this is holding me up. Cheers in advance. [Solution] Problem, the webmail split the messages

Hi, I found the key for solve this problem. In my system, the problem has the codification. For my language (catalan - ca), the default codification are UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1, but, when anybody write a message, the default codification are ASCII. In the file program/localization I put this lines: $rcube_charsets = array( 'ca' => 'utf-8', 'es' => 'utf-8' ); but, the system ignore these. For solve this, I put the next lines; $rcube_charsets = array( 'ca' => 'UTF-8', 'es' => 'UTF-8' ); And the system works fine. Thanks a lot.
