Attachment problem

Hi everybody, i am trying to use roundcube with my imaps server (wich listen on the 995 port) and i've got some problems with the attachments. When i compose an email and attach some files, everything it's ok, but when it's time to send, it doesn't work. I cannot find anything on the apache server, in the error.log file, and the strangest thing of all is that with squirrelmail i can send mails with attachments. I've found some informations around about the max_upload_file in the php.ini file and the mysql's max_allowed_packet my.cnf option, but i've raised this values without success. Anyway i don't think that the problem should be server-side, but client-side. Because it seems like the server is not contacted. So, what can i look for ? Is there a way to debug this process or there are some known issues about attachments ? Thanks in advance for your answers... IMAP folders dans languages

Hi list, For some reasons, I have read/write access only in the INBOX folder of IMAP, so I have changed the path of the other folders (sent, trush ...) to INBOX/SENT ... It is working fine, but when I try to translate the default language to other then English, the folders still appear in English. I haven't found where to change this setting, if any one can help :) (excuse my poor English ) Riahi Taieb

sql update error

Hello! first of all sorry for my simple english.... We used 0.1-beta2 (I seen it in the index.php) and today I try to upgrade to roundcubemail-nightly-20070318 When I tried to update mysql I received this: office SQL # mysql roundcubemail -u root -p < mysql.update-0.1a.sql Enter password: ERROR 1060 (42S21) at line 5: Duplicate column name 'ip' office SQL # mysql roundcubemail -u root -p < mysql.update.sql Enter password: ERROR 1062 (23000) at line 4: Duplicate entry '7-INBOX.msg-437' for key 2 Round cube seens to working but I cannot send email. I dont get an error. The sender combo box is empty. I am not an linux/database expert. Can anybody help me? What can I do, and how? Thanks Istvan Takacs

Sender address in mail header incorrect

I'm using v0.1-beta2 and I'm having a problem with the 'Sender' in the mail headers that are sent from Roundcube. The Sender field is always set to 'www-data(a)myserver.com', but X-Sender is set to the senders email address (which I believe is correct). Is there any way to tell Roundcube/PHP not to set the 'Sender' in the mail header ? Thanks

SMTP authentication fails (only with Roundcube)

Hi, I've been reading your forum posts on this issue, and they point to a permissions failure in the database. MySQL is populating new users in the users table, but no privileges are listed for them on SHOW GRANTS. So I granted all privileges on the roundcube database to a primary user and verified that this user has all privileges: mysql> SHOW GRANTS FOR user1; +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Grants for user1@% +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | GRANT USAGE ON *.* TO 'user1'@'%' | GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON `roundcubemail`.`roundcubemail` TO 'user1'@'%' | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ 2 rows in set (0.00 sec) This seems like overkill, since user1 only cares about user1's settings (not those for user2, 3, 4 etc), but I read that db permissions might be the problem, so I opened everything to user1 to test this. I set the smtp_auth_type to LOGIN (also tried PLAIN and DIGEST-MD5), but sending mail fails (for user1 and all other users) with an SMTP authentication failure. Finally, not knowing whether I have a PHP mail() problem, I alternately tried 'mail.mydomain.com' and 'localhost' for the smtp_server setting, but that also makes no difference :( I can send mail from Linux and Windows POP3 and IMAP clients on my LAN, but not Roundcube! I am using SASL with Cyrus IMAP, and an LDAP database. What to look for? -- Just the madness, not the science...

un-able to send/save/do anything useful

Hi, I've not been using RC for very long, and it was working at some point. I have gone through a clean install however my owes persist. Setup: *Qmail *Mysql *courier IMAP *apache22 is there anything else relevant? Symptoms: *Unable to save preferences (eg alias information) to the dB, however user sessions are written (plus you can login so interaction + user privileges are there and correct) *'sender' is blank when composing, if filled in the send fails *Everything else seems to be working *The following PHP warning is thrown when doing seeming anything: [Fri Mar 23 18:43:32 2007] [error] [client 'myIP' :) ] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent in Unknown on line 0, referer: http://webmail.metawork.co.uk/ Wondering if anyone else has had these problems? the wonderful world of the web didn't return much despite my google efforts. Error during attaching operations and attachment downloading

Hi, I've some problems attaching files to new mails. These are the errors: 1) When I attach a single file of size >1MB after few second, roundcube return on compose mail but there is no file attached; 2) When I try to attach multiple files, and the total size of the attachments are greater than 1MB, the roundcube interface freeze, and I've to reload manually the page. Once I've reloaded I'm in front of the "Compose New Mail" interface, without any entry I've already done. 3) When I receive a mail with a file as attachment and I try to open it with left-click, the type of the file is correctly recognized, but the application loaded by the browser cannot find the file. Question about where objects are defined

Hello Everyone, I am wondering where things like roundcube:button are defined. I need to add a dropdown field to the compose screen and want it to take the same look and field as the other fields.
