So I like the ability to have multiple identities but right now its a huge security risk to have enable the way I see it. Since there is no indication in the header of the original username, and also no check to authorize the user for the address they are adding, I just can't allow my users to have that option. It wont even be a day before people start sending emails out as me and as the officers. Does anybody else share this sentiment? If so, I propose that there needs to be 1) a simple way to disable it and 2) a way to force RC to put the original identity into the headers of the outgoing message. Accented characters in French

I have been utterly unable to make the accented characters (in this case French) display properly. In Personal Settings, when choosing français, the accented characters are gibberish. I 've tried setting a default charset in an .htaccess file, UTF-8 is set as the default, and web pages on my servers display french accents correctly on stand-alone pages. My RC sites are running on Linux, both Apache 1.3 and 2.x I downloaded the source files to my Mac, and the accents in the language array and FR localization files only read correctly if I open them using BBedit with UTF-8. Storage Spam to Junk Folder

Hi, my name is Fede, i`m from Argentina. Sorry for my spanish. I a mail server with SpamAssassin and RoundCube. I change spam message subject with "***SPAM***", and in my config (main.inc.php) file of Roundcube i have this line: -------------------------------------------- // store spam messages in this mailbox $rcmail_config['junk_mbox'] = 'Junk'; -------------------------------------- But spam messages don´t save in Junk folder. How I storage spam messages in Junk folder? Very Thanks :D

Hi all, Just installed roundcube on a temporary to test it as a webmail client for the domains I have. I am currently using IlohaMail. Is it possible to have a list of "servers" from which users can select the domain at which their mailbox is, and have the list unalterable by those users? Similar to the servers list on IlohaMail. I'm using SVN 423 and have the same issue with the default settings. Try unchecking "Compose HTML messages" in the Personal Settings, Preferences area. That fixed the spell check in text mode but it still doesn't work in HTML mode. I downloaded and set up RoundCube's latest SVN 430 to see how the preview pane that's generating so much buzz is coming along. First of all, rc is really starting to grow into a mature product. Kudos to the developers for that. Now for the problem I faced. In the config file, I set spell check to true, set spell check server to empty (to use google spell checking), enabled html editor. Now while composing message, the spell check button (tab?) at the top (along with the send button) is greyed out. Shouldn't my enabling spell check in the config enable this button? I then proceeded to try out the spell check of the html editor (tinyMCE). It kept on crashing firefox. So I gave it a try in Internet Explorer 6, on which it popped up a message saying: "Could not spell check the message. Server didn't return a valid xml.". Is it a bug? Or am I missing something here? Address Book Problem...

I have RoundCude installed and working with the exception of the Address Book. I can add contacts, but whenever I click a contact in the list, I get this message in the right pane where the contact info should display: SERVICE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE! Error No. 1f4) I'm not sure where to look to fix this as everything else seems to be working just fine and new Address Book entries are saved. Any suggestions? -- Chris Jett chris(a)jettfuel.net

Hey all first time am using this so hope someone can help me. I am settting up imaps on my server i have it working perfect for me thunderbird client but not for roudcube. I try connect to https://mywebsite/webmail and it comes up with roundcube login screen, i try to login but get back a message ----- IMAP Error: Authentication for namit failed (LOGIN): "a001 NO Plaintext authentication disabled." Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent in /var/www/roundcube/program/include/rcube_shared.inc on line 132 ---- I have got the following lines in my roundcube changed $rcmail_config['default_host'] = 'ssl://Mywebaddress.org:993'; $rcmail_config['default_port'] = 143; have also tried 993 I donot have ssl for smtp Christian Kortenhorst
