[RoundCube Users] Outbound email fails via smtp
by Brady J. Frey 11 Feb '06

11 Feb '06

I've attempted to program all settings into our server for outbound email usage, but to no avail. Currently we're a Cyrus OS X server, with smtp, password authorization required for outbound sending of messages. Now, I get the %u/p parts, and I have it set to the proper smtp address... should I not just be using 'LOGIN' as the password protocal? I've essentially tried all, and none seem to work, I'm wondering if there's a different outbound preference I should put in there that I'm not seeing? Thanks all! p.s. -- I second the archival request. -- *Brady J. Frey* creative director // *dotfive* www.dotfive.com <http://www.dotfive.com>

[RoundCube Users] MIME Images not displaying inline
by James Bedford 10 Feb '06

10 Feb '06

Hi everyone, I'm receiving messages which have gifs embedded (i.e. "a multi-part message in MIME format"). Can anyone tell me why roundcube doesn't display these images inline? It works fine in gmail, outlook web access and outlook 2003. Thanks, James

Is there an options I'm missing to allow you to refresh the inbox to check for new messages every so often? I'm using the latest "stable" release.

Like this: $rcmail_config['default_host'] = array('IP of SERVER 1', 'IP of SERVER 2'); Hope this helps.. ----- Original Message ----- From: Brady J. Frey To: Mojo Jojo Sent: Thursday, February 09, 2006 1:49 PM Subject: Re: 'default_host' Excuse my designer lack of extensive development experience, but how would you write the array for this? Can you email a quick fake example? Thanks:) -- Brady J. Frey creative director // dotfive 1960 California St., Suite #23 San Francisco, CA 94109 ph: 415.354.1076 www.dotfive.com

Re: [RoundCube Users] Problems in Firefox w/ 20060205

That was indeed the problem. (Saw that on the dev ML, as well). Cleared the cache, and FF 1.5 is working great here at work. Will try Safari and FF 1.0.7 when I get home. Huge, HUGE improvements from the 20051021 build I was running. Thanks, Matt On Thu, 09 Feb 2006 16:12:28 +0100, Thomas Bruederli <roundcube(a)gmail.com> wrote: > Try to empty your browser cache. [RoundCube Users] 'default_host'
by Mojo Jojo 09 Feb '06

Hello all.. New to the list and RoundCube, great product so far. I see the default host setting that mentions adding multiple host to allow for a drop down list. I have tried adding multiple lines, tried separating the host by comma, space and pipe... How do I add more than one how to this option? Thanks! ################ // the mail host chosen to perform the log-in // leave blank to show a textbox at login, give a list of hosts // to display a pulldown menu or set one host as string. // To use SSL connection, enter ssl://hostname:993 $rcmail_config['default_host'] = '66.228.42.29'; ############### Also, is there a mail archive for this users list? I only see a way to get to the mail archive for the dev list.

[RoundCube Users] Problems in Firefox w/ 20060205
by Matt Welch 09 Feb '06

Hello, I've checked the dev archives w/ no results, and haven't been able to find any archives for this list, so I hope this question hasn't been asked a thousand times. After first upgrading, then wiping everything and doing a fresh install of 20050206, I find that RC no longer works w/ any version of firefox. Messages can't be selected, much less double clicked to open, and mailboxes can't be clicked on to select. Surprisingly, IE renders RC20060205 perfectly. Any quick fixes I can make to get it working? Thanks, Matt

[RoundCube Users] DB error seems to be..
by Brady J. Frey 09 Feb '06

Fixed with the latest CVS build, it was because of large Cyrus IMAP accounts - however, now I'm tackling sending outbound emails being blocked and no authentication method is being picked up -- I will look to see if the CVS build cures this as well.
