Hello. Updating first tried to 0.8.6 -> 0.9.5 (ubuntu repository) and 0.8.6 -> 1.0.4 manifests itself as a problem. When you create a new message. I'm trying to write the address of the ldap directory, but it is not substituted. Thus substituted addresses from your personal address book. I would like to build this functionality. Because it blocks the update. That I have set up wrong? roundcubemail incompatible with php-5.6 ?
by Thomas Spuhler 16 Jan '15

16 Jan '15

After upgrading php to version 5.6 with all related packages such as apache, I cannot log into my mail account anymore (I am running my own e-mail test server on a virtualbox) I think I am honing in on the problem: I upgraded everything from mageia4 to mageia5 but not: roundcubemail php apache and I do not have problem to login. After updating php (with all php related packages) and apache, I get the following error in journalctl httpd.service Jan 14 17:59:41 vbox.btspuhler.com suhosin[4907]: ALERT - ASCII-NUL chars not allowed within request variables - dropped variable '_url' (attacker '127.0.0.1', file '/usr/share/roundcubemail/index.php') Jan 14 17:59:41 vbox.btspuhler.com suhosin[4907]: ALERT - dropped 1 request variables - (0 in GET, 1 in POST, 0 in COOKIE) (attacker '127.0.0.1', file '/usr/share/roundcubemail/index.php') Has anybody else experienced this? -- Best regards Thomas Spuhler All of my e-mails have a valid digital signature ID 60114E63

Attachments "disappear" when sending email with RC 0.9.5
by Tobi 14 Jan '15

14 Jan '15

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello list we currently use RC 0.9.5 on a Debian-Wheezy with Apache/2.2.22 and PHP 5.4.34-0+deb7u1. We have the problem that from time to time attachments get lost when sending an email. Roundcube shows that all the attachments have been added to a mail, but when receiving the mail some attachments are missing. We checked the mails after they left RC and saw that RC submits these mails with missing attachments to the smtp server. The problem is that it is very hard to reproduce the problem as it does not occur with every mail containing multiple attachments. Out of 20 of our tests maybe one shows the problem. After some research I found the following bug report: http://trac.roundcube.net/ticket/1488422 For me it sounds like the problem we have but according to the information there it should be resolved in the version of RC we use. Is there anymore information I should provide? Is there maybe a "attachment" debugging mode in RC which could reveal the source of the problem? Thanks a lot for any help and idea Best regards tobi -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJUq5thAAoJEDUc5iWoaKTkkVYQAIzM6O0EIxcCR1g3q5xjGA+K c0sW/0Svm1AWRGkY4y6Dr+aI7ti7ZbmtS3uyK7Hm9z1r0X2iK8zxu+bhwzhr4sSJ XeJak1gvHvUCVIG4l/cktRDQk7vTRFElD7c3KCgC6lYmaOOgGK9f5FDsYrR6u6Cx tA7OxEg5hdI4SeSfU8Trx0T4Ai9AAvmumlb/5FWeG4EarWHKSRFiIgk3y4yjE7XM lhoBCU1spnYR0EPkBJZJ22hMu+Jd93QJASFiDuIRgNWsqrOuj1ubZHlFTgPFjGaq saFfmT6BlmdhO4VhpXjb/wuYAC8zyPhxMakFQFk5TF4hvVm/DaEP67vjMd9gz3xk YG9cUFKX8g6oXpjHZwzcOFgyY12BT52y9V3M61IQNk7sG+CVCJkgTCZugBILMn8l jJiXlxRk2RzumhCWi1Y5kqTpF2MaD75Sgj+utEx5plDFkh8/c8s+ErIj6UG5OGqR q2hOXZEJCGj/njko2PKBZ49qqkFvgfsMal4DDLcrOfWuCuMsTJqYNTJjSLTm4iwK LsRSbx7U35y23VD6o0lFXWPbbC6y9k3BMrTs2/L9iCcjqICI/9KZieUAkXCL1d4s 4FjtLa3VbNAo5dZSOFZINEEEDSILFVKPP86QFMcFsrtZ2egw5quB92U1UWc8LMod 10vZCNRbgXzeY/A2BR+Z =cv5m -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

Strip arbitrary characters from login
by Robert Blayzor 06 Jan '15

06 Jan '15

Is there a way to strip arbitrary characters from a users login input. Ie: one may consider something like periods in the local_part to be arbitrary. So logging in a "user", "u.ser" or "u.s.e.r" all result in the same user. One way would be to run the input through a search/replace regex... is this possible in any way? -- Robert inoc.net!rblayzor http://inoc.net/

plugin_manager not visible
by forum.news＠gmx.de 05 Jan '15

05 Jan '15

Hi All, I just installed plugin_manager (downloaded and copied it into the plugins folder). I also added it in the main config: File "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\roundcubemail\config\config.inc.php" $config['plugins'] = array('plugin_manager'); After login in, a popup was shown that I need submit some SQL statements against the database which I did. Now plugin_manager is listed in the "about" section, but that is all. It is not visible in the Settings section and there was no popup providing the md5 hash key for the myrc file. It just does not show up... Did I miss something? btw: I'm running RC on Windows using IIS. Thanks Konrad

kolab/calendar
by fak3r 04 Jan '15

I'm running roundcube-1.1-beta, have installed a few plugins that are working fine, I installed kolab/calendar and kolab/libcalendaring plugins via the tar they provide on the kolab site: roundcubemail-plugins-kolab-3.2.1 I followed the README in the calendar plugin, configured and then initiated the database, but when I click the new calendar tab within the roundcube UI I get the error [29-Dec-2014 20:32:33 America/Chicago] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method rcube_user::list_emails() in /var/www/html/lowf.at/roundcube/plugins/calendar/calendar.php on line 1591 Is anyone running the kolab/calendar from that 3.2.1 bundle? I looked through the RC forum, wiki, but don't see anything related to this, let me know if there's a better place to ask this. As an aside, I'm running my own mailserver again, but used to and used RC maybe 3 years ago, and I'm really amazed at how the project has progressed, it's really slick. Thanks
