Managesieve and special characters
by Phyks 18 Nov '14

18 Nov '14

Hi, I'm new to Roundcube and encountered some problems with the Managesieve plugin and Dovecot. I have some mailboxes with special characters (like "&" and "é") and the plugin escapes them, whereas Dovecot apparently does not need to escape them… So, I had to manually edit the Sieve rules, or Dovecot could not find the matching inbox. I'm not sure whether it's a bug or not, and who is the real responsible for this (Dovecot / PidgeonHole / Roundcube). Have you ever encountered something like this ? Thanks -- Phyks

by Nick Edwards 18 Nov '14

So after update to 1.0.3, many users can no longer right click paste, some crud about browser not capable, funny how it worked earlier what the hell gives with roundcube lately? is there a drop in editor we can use that replaces the mess that exists? or do we move to horde?

Hi all, sorry if this was already discussed before and if we missed something during the update, just wanted to notify that settings like 'username_domain', 'prefer_html', 'max_recipients', 'max_group_members' and 'useragent' were not kept during the update. Using the script ./bin/installto.sh <TARGET-FOLDER> Thank you, RuggedInbox team

Hi, how can I prevent users deleting system folder? I created a folder "Archive" and I would like to avoid accidental delete.. I put this in config.inc.php: config.inc.php:$config['default_folders'] = array('INBOX', 'Drafts', 'Sent', 'Junk', 'Trash', 'Archive'); Thank you

Auto subscribe IMAP folder
by absolutely_free＠libero.it 15 Nov '14

Hi, I created at file system level a custom folder "Archive" in every Maildir. Is there a way to let RC auto-suscribe those new folders? I put this in defaults.inc.php $config['default_folders'] = array('INBOX', 'Drafts', 'Sent', 'Junk', 'Trash', 'Archive'); $config['create_default_folders'] = true; But this works only for NEW users (never logged in) have Archive folder already subscribed. Thank you

Reply: Quoted message in new window; Signature at bottom but cursor at the top? - This used to work?
by Philip Rhoades 12 Nov '14

People, In a Reply to a message I always used to use: - A quoted message in a new window - With the signature at the bottom of the email but with the cursor positioned at the top of the email I do this because I nearly always do inline responses to the individual points. I'm sure this used to work but I can't see how to do it now - is it still possible? Thanks, Phil. -- Philip Rhoades GPO Box 3411 Sydney NSW 2001 Australia E-mail: phil(a)pricom.com.au

roundcube webmail forward to address
by Istvan Gabor 09 Nov '14

09 Nov '14

Dear list users: I have a question regarding roundcube webmail user interface. I would like to forward a message to someone in my contacts list. When I click the forward button the new message with a blank "to:" line appears. How can I insert in this field the recipient's address from my contacts? I couldn't find any button for that. I do not want to type the address. Thanks, Istvan

Roundcube message retrieval takes >12 seconds
by G H 05 Nov '14

I have an IMAP acount with about 1200 folders (nested in some fashion or another). And they are all subscribed as well. When a message is loaded (ie: double clicked) RoundCube is calling: LIST (SUBSCRIBED) "" "*" This results in dovecot/IMAP sending back the list and Apache going to 100% CPU usage during this time (dovecot is fine) -- it takes over 12s to view a single message. Why is RC making a LIST call when a message is fetched? Is there a way to disable this? Thanks, G H
