Question about RC upgrade

Hi, I'm going to upgrade from RC 1.0.0 to RC 1.0.1 I will use the ./bin/installto.sh script I don't know if I need to use /bin/indexcontacts.sh script, too. I'm using MySQL backend. Thankyou

Change Roundcube configuration setting on a per-user basis

Hello, I want to migrate our actual webmailer based on Squirrelmail to Roundcube version 0.9.5 (OS Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.5). Using Squirrelmail together with the VLogin-plugin I can connect a certain user using his account for login (and not an email address) to his defined mailbox which is hosted on a cyrus-imap-linux server or a MS exchange system. At the same time I can activate or switch off the availability of specific plugins (for example a sieve filter plugin). I've already installed a roundcube test system, everything works fine now. But I cannot manage that per-user customising with the roundcube vlogin plugin. Within the plugin package there is a file called "TODO" telling me that these features unfortunately aren't realized at the moment. My question to you: is there a way to implement this behaviour? Are there more possibilities if i upgrade to version 1.0.1? Thank you very much in advance.

messages list refreshing unexpectedly

I recently upgraded from Roundcube 0.9.x and I'm now using Roundcube 1.0.1 on FreeBSD with PHP 5.5 With the new release, I find that the messages list refreshes after replying or forwarding. This change loses the context you previously had. Any ideas as to why this happens? thanks -- Dan Langille - http://langille.org/

Order of folders cluttered

I don't know how that happened, but all of a sudden the order my mail folders is totally f*cked up (e.g. the Trash folder being the very last of all folders rather than one of the special folders at the top of the folder list). Because of this incident I realized that I don't know if and how to change the order of folders at all (apart from manually fiddling around with settings in the database). Is there a way...? (issue?) Mailbox refresh

Hello, I've been using RC for quite some time now, and I'm having an issue; I think it's more a plugin issue, so I ask here just to be sure. I'm using the 'rcubefilters' plugin (http://sourceforge.net/projects/rcubefilters/), and it works great. Tge e-mails filtered are moved into the folders I want them to, but Roundcube doesn't refresh the UI correctly I think; i.e. when I receive a message I see '(1)' near the Inbox, when I click on it, it goes away but I don't see it on another folder. I have to disconnect and reconnect myself into Rouncdube to see all the boxes correctly. It there a settings I can change to make it works correctly, or do I need to use a different type of filters? IMAP support for sort criteria

Dear all, I want to sort my mails by size, in the old roundcube version it worked without problems, now it seems, that the IMAP server doesn't support the new command. I only use Roundcube online, usually I work with thunderbird and its still working there. I do not know what IMAP server software is used for my system and I do not know how to get to know about it. idle_timeout plugin

Hi, I have installed roundcube 1.0 on ubuntu server 12.04 and then I've added plugin manager and idle timeout plugin. I have configured the idle timeout plugin following the guide but it doesn't work; is that a known issue? And how can I solve this problem? Attaching files is not working for me, what am I missing?

Hello list, I can't seem to get attaching files to work (Roundcube 1.0.1, Gentoo Linux, Apache 2.4.9, PHP 5.5.12). Whenever I click "attach a file", select a file and then click "upload", Apache logs messages like these: [core:notice] [pid 9155:tid 140489408571264] AH00052: child pid 9482 exit signal Aborted (6) [core:notice] [pid 9155:tid 140489408571264] AH00052: child pid 9493 exit signal Aborted (6) *** Error in `/usr/sbin/apache2': free(): invalid pointer: 0x00007fc60035f9a8 *** I made sure that $config['temp_dir'] points to a directory writeable by the Apache user. PHP settings ensure that file uploads are allowed. Roundcube reports file_uploads: OK session.auto_start: OK zend.ze1_compatibility_mode: OK mbstring.func_overload: OK suhosin.session.encrypt: OK magic_quotes_runtime: OK magic_quotes_sybase: OK I wonder how to better debug this problem to figure out what I am doing wrong here. Can you guys help me with this? -R
