Greetings, Is it possible to dynamically assign the value of skin_logo in roundcube through a plugin? i cant find a hook that seems to do manage to correctly set and display the resulting parameter by the time the first page loads
Hi, yes there is an option in config/main.inc.php
// replace Roundcube logo with this image // specify an URL relative to the document root of this Roundcube installation $rcmail_config['skin_logo'] = 'https://images.<yourdomain>.com/<logo_file>.png';
It also works if you want to point it at a different server.

i suppose some clarification is in order. I need to assign the value of this configuration variable based on data retrieved from a plugin called when roundcube is loaded. the startup hook is what im using currently, along with the config->set method to assign the variable skin_logo however it doesnt seem to work and the roundcube logo is still displayed.

SORRY, I SHOULD HAVE READ THE ORIGINAL MESSAGE MORE CAREFULLY, BUT BUSY BUSY BUSY.
I don't know a great deal about plugins I'm afraid, but as an alternative to using plugins, have you looked at using Alternative Config files. Its designed for allowing alternative configs based on domain, but I would think you could also use it based on username as you have access to that via $username (and maybe other criteria as well) . Anyway, the documentation is at the end of the document: http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Config [4]
Hope this helps.
