Probably, the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" principle.
All his mail is managed by an installation that works, so why mess with it.
I run Courier IMAPD, and the RC plugin for editing sieve rules works just fine. It talks to the pysieved program which manages the file stored in the user's home directory.
I described the setup in more detail in an old posting to this mailing list. (Could be some two years ago).
Dear Kaz,
You said you are using Courier IMAPD and you are running email filters in roundcube ..
So does this means that I can use UW-IMAPD + roundcube + filters ? what filters plugin should i Download ?
Because UW_IMAPD doesnot come with pysieved..
So what should I download then install to make roundcube work with filters with UW-IMAPD ?

Reply-To exists for a reason.
The header is necessary when someone is writing an e-mail on behalf of someone else, so that the reply should go to that someone else. E.g. a secretary sends a memo (requested by the boss), whose reply should go to the secretary's boss.
If you don't think it's a good idea to use Reply To, then don't click that option.
If you remove it from your RC installation, that's good for you, but you are bound to annoy some user who suddenly has a legitimate need to generate that header.
Don't cripple electronic mail for your users!
