Hello,
I love roundcube and am ready to deploy for my customers, but have a problem with mail message list refreshing after my inbox shows new mail. Like inbox(4), etc.
If I click a different folder and then go back to inbox, it'll finally show the new messages. I've got the latest stable version running on a Fedora Core 3 server running latest postfix, dovecot, mysql and apache.
I'm anxiously awaiting lists and other good features.
I couldn't get to the archives. I get a Vi flytter! message.
Buckeye Fan.
The Beta version currently out fixes this issue.

Try changing the value below from TRUE to FALSE in main.inc.php
// enable caching of messages and mailbox data in the local database. // this is recommended if the IMAP server does not run on the same machine $rcmail_config['enable_caching'] = TRUE;

I would argue against that -- I'm using the beta version on 3 sites and I'm having this issue, I was just about to remove the cache option as well.

Yeah...I never saw this issue until the beta version as well.

Actually, I have 2 installs, both have this same problem on 2 different servers.
I'm using the v0.1-beta verion released on 2/19.
Thanks, Scott

Turning off the cache to false seems to have fixed it for me. It was not a problem in the CVS before beta.

wow.. weird. I upgraded to beta, didn't change anything other than the default language, and it worked fine for me. The older version wouldn't refresh the counts.

This is known issue with cache refreshing. I'm looking forward to publish a new CVS-snapshot soon which will solve this.

Fantastic, thank you Thomas:) FYI, turning off the cache works -- and since our web server is on the same LAN as the mail server, we can live without it, though I'm sure others may not be as lucky.
