Ok, going by the code: -------------------------------------------------- // get source code of a specific message and cache it function rcmail_message_source($uid) -------------------------------------------------- This code checks if its been cached, and if not pulls the headers and then checks if there is a messageID in the header. It does this from the cached copy if it already exists. -------------------------------------------------- if (!$cached) $headers = $IMAP->get_headers($uid); else $headers = &$cached; $message_id = $headers->messageID; -------------------------------------------------- I'm not sure how the sessionID is not unique enough. If its good enough to keep a concurrent session active, why is it not good enough for this purpose? Or, do a hash of the time, or something similar. I think the extra step here would be to somehow write the message_ID we create back to the cache. That way you guarantee each message cache has a unique identifier.

Roundcube Webmail Suggestion

First of all I'd like to say that this is by far the best free / open source webmail app ever created. I think when it's finishd it will be the definition of perfection in every way. Great work. I have a suggestion for a feature or set of features. Basically these would be relating to setting this up in a company Intranet environment. I'm quite keen for staff to use a webmail system like this rather than traditional email clients. One thing that would be really handy for this would be global address book entries; that is address book entries that are controlled centrally by an administrator and can not be modified or deleted by each user. There may also be other features that would benefit that form of deployment. I'd be happy to develope these features myself but would fear that future updates may clash with my changes. Cheers. Mail not mark as read

Hi, With the new version (200512xx), when you read a mail, send a response, when you have finished to send the new mail, you return to the inbox and the mail is not marked as read, it worked in the previous version(v0.1-20051021) Sorry for my english, it's not very good :-) -- Marc - SprintEx Tiger http://www.sprintex.org/

Pb, with attached file

Hi, I just install the new version, and when I want to see attached files (a big one), I have this error : [05-Dec-2005 18:57:55] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1773552 bytes) in /var/www/roundcube/roundcubemail-cvs-20051203/program/lib/Mail/mimeDecode.php on line 388 Thanks for this great webmail ! -- Marc Auzanneau

RC doesn't like aol?

Ok, this has to be the wierdest bug I've seen yet. I also need to see if anyone else can replicate this problem. I've been reporting that we get error 406 when forwarding certain messages. Its much more basic than that. On my server, if I create a new message or forward one and the following text is in the TITLE OR THE BODY, I get the error. "@aol", minus the quotes. I tried a lot of iterations of this and pared it down to this line. If you have "@aol" in the body or title, its crapping out. Can anyone else replicate this bug? Just send an email to any valid address with @aol in your subject or body. Thanks!

why does RC cache to the DB and local file?

In this code in func.inc, it looks like RC is caching a message both to the database and to the local temp directory. HELP - Trouble with new installation

Hello, After the trouble with upgrading (see my previous mail). I deleted all DB (tables) and files. I upload and reinstall the DB. Now I don't have anything, juste a white page, no login fields, nothing http://www.cista.be/webmail Any idea ? Thanks,
