Hello folks
After building and maintaining our own translation tool for some time we now moved to the translation service at launchpad.net. This makes it a lot easier for many people to contribute side by side and the launchpad system even makes suggestions from translations of other open source projects.
So from now on, we'd like you to go directly to https://translations.launchpad.net/roundcubemail/trunk for any translation work. If you visit that page now you can see the (partially very poor) completeness status of our 75 languages. I'd like to encourage everybody once again to participate and to help us complete all the translations we currently have on the list.
Many thanks for you help!

Awesome Thomas! Could this be used by plugins in such a way that they're all easy to find when you translate for roundcube?

I prepared a folder for plugins and translations from the archive plugin are already imported. I'll add the other plugins we have in SVN later on.
It should be possible to pull in other sources, too. Once I figured out all the features of launchpad I'll let you know. The downside is that launchpad only accepts gettext files. I therefore created some converter scripts which translate between gettext and Roundcube format. Of course they can also be used by plugin authors.

Nice. I like how it suggest translations from other projects.

Thomas, i asked about brazilian team and I had two replies in prv. I'm yet lost about this tool. I already used other tools, like Pootle (in web), or lokalize/poEdit/vitraal (desktop client) for translations for OOo/Mozilla/KDE/Debian for pt-BR.
Is my first time using LaunchPad, and i and Robson have doubts about the process in this tool. There, shows untranslated strings for pt-BR, but we already did all new translations and I revised all translations done.
The question is: when will be incorporated and will be changed the status of this new strings to "translated" (or who will do) ?
Thanks in advanced, Claudio _______________________________________________ List info: http://lists.roundcube.net/dev/ BT/aba52c80
Hi,
I have the same doubt.
I already translate all strings for pt-PT and the status is still the same.

It's a known bug of launchpad that the stats are not updared correctly.. I reported it and got the promise that it should become fixed anytime soon.
The question is: when will be incorporated and will be changed the status of this new strings to "translated" (or who will do) ?
We just have to give the launchpad people some time to fix their bugs. But overall, the translations tools of launchpad are way better than our homegrown translator.
Thanks for your patience!
