Drafts Counter

Hello, I was searching for a plugin or a function in roundcube to add a drafts counter next to the Draft Folder. Like when you got unread messages but for the count of drafts you got in your folder. For example google mail is using this feature were you can see how many draft mail you got. Does someone know a plugin or a feature for this? Thank you. Kind Regards Jeffrey

Es posible insertar una imagen cuando se envía correo desde Roundcube/webmail como por ejemplo se puede hacer con gmail? Me refiero a añadir una fotografía o un logotipo asociado a la cuenta de correo (ver mi propio correo enviado desde otro servidor), no dentro del cuerpo del email (texto) ni como archivo adjunto. Muchas gracias JJ

Hi from a low-level user. a) is there a roadmap or list of requested features somewhere? b) I would like to suggest two features for the moving emails function (i) have a list of most recent destination folders up to say last 10 (ii) select a destination folder by name with text completion search If these suggestions have already been put forward, please add my "vote" to see them implemented Regards John A jatalldad(a)gmail.com

Seeking workflow for maintaining a RoundCube installation

Dear list I have a RoundCube installation with a few 3rd party plugins and some homemade plugins and some patches to the roundcube core. The problem is I have no recollection of what has been done, so it's very difficult to upgrade to a new version of RoundCube. Also, all modifications are currently done on the live site, leading to lots of unnecessary downtime. Starting over fresh, I would like a workflow that allows: 1) Easily upgrading roundcube core / 3rd party plugins 2) Testing/Production environment My initial idea was to make the following script: 1) unpack roundcube-{version}.tar 2) install plugins 3) copy extra files/apply patches 4) delete installation dir++ I tried to do this, but I soon discovered that this was not the intended way: 1) composer/roundcube will prompt the user for many questions, and there doesn't seem to be any way of supplying the answers as commandline options or similar 2) composer/roundcube seems to automatically connect to the database and make modifications, this would end up making changes only in the test environment :/ How are you guys maintaining your RoundCube installations? -- Stevie Trujillo

Hello, I use the change password plugin on my system. It works good. The problem is my users can use a dictionary words in their passwords. I've a one easy question. How can I use cracklib in this plugin? Does anybody use it? Thanks for your help yamen

Security updates 1.2.5, 1.1.9 and 1.0.11 released

Dear subscribers We just published updates to all stable versions 1.x delivering important bug fixes and improvements which we picked from the upstream branch. The updates primarily fix a recently discovered vulnerability in the virtualmin and sasl drivers of the password plugin (CVE-2017-8114). More details about this vulnerability will be published soon by the reporter. Security-wise the update is therefore only relevant for those installations of Roundcube using the password plugin with either one of these drivers. See the full changelog for the according version in the release notes on the Github download pages: https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/releases/tag/1.2.5 https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/releases/tag/1.1.9 https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/releases/tag/1.0.11 All versions are considered stable and we recommend to update all productive installations of Roundcube with either of these versions. Release Candidate for version 1.3 available for download

Dear subscribers We proudly announce that the feature-complete release candidate for the next major version 1.3 of Roundcube webmail is now available for final testing. After dropping support for older browsers and PHP versions and adding some new features like the widescreen layout, the release candidate finalizes that work and also fixes two security issues (updates for stable versions will follow) plus adds improvements to the Managesieve and Enigma plugins. We also slightly polished the Larry theme to make it look a little less 2010 :-) Although the default theme still doesn’t work on mobile devices, a fully responsive skin is currently being worked on. As a reminder: if you’re installing the dependent package or run Roundcube directly from source, you now need to install the removed 3rd party javascript modules by executing the following install script: $ bin/install-jsdeps.sh With the upcoming stable release of 1.3.0 the old 1.x series will only receive important security fixes. As usual, see the complete Changelog in our wiki [1] and download the new packages from https://roundcube.net/download. Please note that this is a release candidate and we recommend to test it on a separate environment. And don’t forget to backup your data before installing it. Please contact your internet hosting provider or IT responsible for first level support. If you don't know who this might be please review your bills and see who you are paying for email or web hosting services. Roundcube is not a service but free software which your hosting provider installed on their servers.
