Dear subscribers
I know that it was very quiet on the announce mailing list (maybe
already a bit scary...) but now we're proud to announce a new release
of the RoundCube webmail package. New version 0.2-beta comes has many
bugs fixed and some new features like
* Collapsable folder tree
* Flag column on messages list
* Default IMAP folders configurable for each user/account
* Completed TinyMCE integration (with spell checking)
* Save outgoing mail to selectable folder
* Auto-detection the client language and timezone
* Import/export of address book contacts in vCard format
* Options to use syslog instead of log file
* Pspell support
A complete list of new features and fixed bugs can be found at
http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog
This release is considered stable (even if some of the localizations
are not complete yet) and we recommend to update existing
installations of RoundCube. You can download it from
http://www.roundcube.net/downloads
Please read the UPGRADING instructions for details. An automated
update script will (hopefully) be included with the next version.
If you want to report bugs, please use our tracker but read the
instructions (http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_ReportIssues)
first.
Cheers!

Hi everybody,
After refactoring some backend code we finally put a working copy of
RoundCube Webmail together again. This preview release of version 0.2
comes up with an all-new HTML sanitization function (written by
Frédéric Motte) which removes malicious JavaScript code from HTML
messages and fixes all known XSS vulnerabilities. Beside that we also
fixed more than 100 bugs and improved both speed and stability.
Special thanks go to Alec, who spent many hours with fixing bugs and
improving features.
With this release RoundCube finally drops support for PHP4 so update
your PHP to 5.2 or greater before installing the new version.
The new version can be downloaded from our website:
http://roundcube.net/downloads or from
http://sf.net/projects/roundcubemail/
Have fun!
~Thomas

Dear RoundCube users
The first service update for RoundCube Webmail 0.1-stable is now
available. It contains important bug fixes and updates of some
incomplete localization files. We recommend to update all
installations of 0.1-stable. Download the package from
https://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=139281&filename=ro…
and read the UPGRADING instructions to find out how to update.
Note: this update is still compatible with PHP 4 but future releases
will only run on PHP 5.
Have fun!

Dear subscribers
After more than two years of development we're proud to announce the
first stable version of RoundCube Webmail. It's not as feature rich as
we'd like it to be but the released version is considered to run
stable for a productive environment. Thanks to our users we fixed many
bugs and added some nice new features since the first 0.1-alpha
version was published in 2005. So go ahead and upgrade your
installations now! Download the latest release from
http://roundcube.net/downloads
A more or less complete list of changes is available at
http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog
The TinyMCE-based HTML message composition is now included but should
still be considered as experimental. Please also note that this is the
last release that runs on PHP 4. As suggested by the GoPHP5 project
RoundCube will be PHP 5 only in future versions.
If you want to report bugs, please use our tracker but read the
instructions (http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_ReportIssues)
first.
Have fun!

Hi everybody,
The first stable release of RoundCube is coming up soon. Yeah!
After adding some new features I'd like to call all translators to
update the localization files in order to get everything ready for the
release. Please use http://translator.roundcube.net/ to find the
missing texts and then submit the updated files to the dev mailing
list.
Thanks a lot!

Dear subscribers
After a long period of silence we can finally announce that the second
release candidate has just been released. This new version comes up
with a lot of improvements and fixed bugs. An HTML message composition
using TinyMCE is also included but disabled by default because it's
still experimental. To enable it you need to set the config parameter
'enable_htmleditor' to true. More changes are listed in the changelog:
http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog
It's recommended to replace your current copy of RoundCube (don't
forget to backup) with this new release. Read the UPGRADING
instructions to see what needs to be done.
Enjoy!

Hi everybody
We kind of automated the publishing process of nightly builds and
therefore removed them form the SourceForge downloads page. You can
now find gzipped archives of SVN snapshots at
