Documentation for Roundcube skins

Dear subscribers We finally created a small documentation about Roundcube skins and the template system: http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Doc_Skins It gives a short introduction to the concept of our skins and lists all templates which are necessary to create a complete and working frontend for Roundcube. On http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Doc_SkinML all supported special tags which can be used within skin templates are explained and you can also find a list of "content objects" which are available in the different templates. While we're still working on a public repository for plugins and skins you're welcome to publish your skins on a server of your choice and add a link here: http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Skins_Repository Now get creative! Update to 0.3.1 released

Hello out there This update release fixes lots of bugs and improves the file upload when composing a mail message. You can now have several concurrent files being uploaded while composing. Also some of the plugins have been improved and translated into more languages. When talking about languages, there are still plenty of our localizations which are not 100% complete. Please visit http://translator.roundcube.net and send us completed localization files. This release is considered stable and we recommend to upgrade all existing installations to this version. Download it from http://roundcube.net/download We kindly request all packagers to update their distributions with this new version. Hi Roundcube users We're proud to announce the stable release of version 0.3 with the long-awaited plugin API. Now the doors are finally open to extend Roundcube's functionality and the integration in other web-based systems got much easier. The package includes a default set of useful plugins as well as some sample code. An introduction to plugin development can be found on our wiki [1]. This release also includes some more bug fixes especially fixes and improvements of the LDAP support. Get all the details from the Changelog [2]. Together with this release we pimped our website with a fresh and sexy screen design created by Micha Krautwasser, a very talented designer at bueroflint.com. Many thanks man! Release Candidate for v0.3

Hello RoundCube users and list lurkers After getting plenty of feedback for the plugin API [1] which was published in version 0.3-beta we now released an almost-ready-to-hit-the-road version of RoundCube. The reason why this not yet a stable release are some pervasive changes on the IMAP backend in order to improve performance. See Changelog [2] for details We'd like our dear users to extensively test this release candidate and submit errors to our bug tracker [3]. The 0.3-stable release will follow soon... New versions 0.2.2 and 0.3-beta released

Hi RoundCube users and list lurkers We've recently published two new releases of the RoundCube Webmail package. Version 0.2.2 is a minor update to the stable 0.2 branch. Beside some bug fixes this version now supports STARTTLS for IMAP connections. A bit further down the road we have the 0.3-beta version which now includes the long awaited plugin API. This version is still under development and we don't recommend to replace a productive version with 0.3-beta. Nevertheless we'd like you to install and test it and get the idea of how to write plugins. Update 0.2.1 released

Hi folks This service update includes more than 40 bug fixes together with some security improvements. We also added TNEF support to decode those proprietary MS Outlook attachments (winmail.dat) and tuned the performance when displaying a message. Some translations have been updated since the 0.2-stable relase and are also included in the package. This release is considered stable and we recommend to upgrade all existing installations to this version. Download it from http://roundcube.net/downloads and read the UPGRADING instructions. We kindly request all packagers to update their distributions with this new version. Hi everybody The second stable version of the RoundCube Webmail package completes unfinished work from the 0.2-stable release. It comes up with about 80 bug fixes as well as some performance improvements. See http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog for details. You can download the package from http://roundcube.net/downloads and we recommend to update all existing installations of RoundCube. The upgrading process now became very easy with the integrated update script. It's runnable from the shell or from within the web-based installer. Read the UPGRADING instructions for details. Security update for 0.2-beta

Dear subscribers There were two security issues reported which are now fixed. The first was as possible code injection using the html2text conversion script [1]. The other exploit used the unchecked size parameters of the quota image to let PHP create huge images eating up all the server memory. Thanks to Stephan for reporting this. The two vulnerable scripts were updated in the current 0.2-beta package and for existing RoundCube installations we recommend to download the update [2] and to replace all the files with the new versions found in the archive.
