Hello folks
This update release fixes the most important bugs of the 0.4 stable release
such as the disappearing upload box or buggy SQL scripts. Further more
support for format=flowed has been improved and some language files have
been completed.
When talking about languages, there are still plenty of our localizations
which are not 100% complete, some of them are even less than 60%. Please
visit http://translator.roundcube.net and send us your updated localization
files.
We recommend to update all existing Roundcube installations with this
release. For a complete list of changes see
http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog. Download it from here:
http://roundcube.net/download
We kindly request all packagers to update their distributions with this new
version. As usual, a pure GPL version is available at the downloads page
mentioned above.

Dear Roundcube users
After the big new features in 0.4-beta this final release now completes the
unfinished work and fixes bugs related to the new threaded message listing
and address groups features. We also cleaned up the user interface and
tried to make all UI elements more consistent.
With this release the skins have been excluded from the GPL license terms
(see README file). This allows you to choose whatever license you want for
your custom skins and even opens the door for creating commercial skins.
We recommend to update all existing Roundcube installations with this
release. Get it from http://roundcube.net/download, a complete list of
changes can be found here: http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog
Have fun,
Thomas

Dear subscribers
A new major release is now available for deep testing. With this version we
fixed over 50 bugs and added new features like threaded message listing and
contact groups support as well as many little improvements that make e-mail
reading with Roundcube an even better experience.
While it's still called a beta release we consider it to be stable enough
for productive environments. However the new features may have some minor
issues which we are happy to hear about.
Download the 0.4-beta version now from http://roundcube.net/download
A complete list of changes can be found as usual at
http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog
Attention: Please note that the database schema has changed. Therefore you
should carefully read the UGRADING instructions and make sure you apply the
according SQL statements from SQL/*.update.sql to your database. Run
bin/update.sh to see what needs to be done.
Have fun!

Dear subscribers
For the upcoming version 0.4 of Roundcube Webmail we have done some
refactoring of the backend code which improves both performance and
reliability of the application. These changes now need to be well tested
before we continue to implement the new features like threaded message
listing planned for 0.4.
This is where we need your help! Please download the latest nightly build
(r3325) from http://nightly.roundcube.net/ and install it in parallel to
your running systems. Test it with your configuration and all the different
IMAP servers. As usual you are kindly requested to report problems to our
bug tracking system at http://trac.roundcube.net/
A list of already fixed bugs and improvements can be found in the CHANGELOG
file within the release package.
Many thanks!
Thomas

Dear subscribers
We finally created a small documentation about Roundcube skins and the
template system: http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Doc_Skins It gives a
short introduction to the concept of our skins and lists all templates
which are necessary to create a complete and working frontend for
Roundcube. On http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Doc_SkinML all supported
special tags which can be used within skin templates are explained and
you can also find a list of "content objects" which are available in
the different templates.
While we're still working on a public repository for plugins and skins
you're welcome to publish your skins on a server of your choice and
add a link here: http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Skins_Repository
Now get creative!

Hello out there
This update release fixes lots of bugs and improves the file upload when
composing a mail message. You can now have several concurrent files being
uploaded while composing. Also some of the plugins have been improved and
translated into more languages.
When talking about languages, there are still plenty of our localizations
which are not 100% complete. Please visit http://translator.roundcube.net
and send us completed localization files.
This release is considered stable and we recommend to upgrade all existing
installations to this version. Download it from http://roundcube.net/download

Have a nice day!

Hi Roundcube users
We're proud to announce the stable release of version 0.3 with the
long-awaited plugin API. Now the doors are finally open to extend
Roundcube's functionality and the integration in other web-based systems
got much easier. The package includes a default set of useful plugins as
well as some sample code. An introduction to plugin development can be
found on our wiki [1].
This release also includes some more bug fixes especially fixes and
improvements of the LDAP support. Get all the details from the Changelog [2].
Together with this release we pimped our website with a fresh and sexy
screen design created by Micha Krautwasser, a very talented designer at
bueroflint.com. Many thanks man!
As usual you can download the new release from our (gorgeous) website [3].
Have fun!

Hello RoundCube users and list lurkers
After getting plenty of feedback for the plugin API [1] which was published
in version 0.3-beta we now released an almost-ready-to-hit-the-road version
of RoundCube. The reason why this not yet a stable release are some
pervasive changes on the IMAP backend in order to improve performance. See
Changelog [2] for details
We'd like our dear users to extensively test this release candidate and
submit errors to our bug tracker [3]. The 0.3-stable release will follow
soon...
You can get 0.3-RC1 from the download section of our website [4].
Best regards,
Thomas

Hi RoundCube users and list lurkers
We've recently published two new releases of the RoundCube Webmail package.
Version 0.2.2 is a minor update to the stable 0.2 branch. Beside some
bug fixes this version now supports STARTTLS for IMAP connections.
A bit further down the road we have the 0.3-beta version which now
includes the long awaited plugin API. This version is still under
development and we don't recommend to replace a productive version
with 0.3-beta. Nevertheless we'd like you to install and test it and
get the idea of how to write plugins. Read
http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Doc_Plugins to get started and find
some sample plugins within the package or more by browsing the SVN
repository: http://trac.roundcube.net/browser/trunk/roundcubemail/plugins
You can download both releases from http://roundcube.net/downloads and
as usual you're kindly requested to submit your reports to our bug
tracker: http://trac.roundcube.net/report
Have a lot of fun!
Thomas

Hi folks
This service update includes more than 40 bug fixes together with some
security improvements. We also added TNEF support to decode those
proprietary MS Outlook attachments (winmail.dat) and tuned the performance
when displaying a message. Some translations have been updated since the
0.2-stable relase and are also included in the package.
This release is considered stable and we recommend to upgrade all existing
installations to this version. Download it from
http://roundcube.net/downloads and read the UPGRADING instructions.
We kindly request all packagers to update their distributions with this new
version. As usual, a pure GPL version is available here:
https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=139281&package_id=23…
Unfortunately there are still some translations waiting to be completed.
See http://translator.roundcube.net for the current completeness status and
feel free to translate the missing labels and messages. Please send the
updated files (packed in an archive) to our developers mailing list.
Cheers!
Thomas
