Attachment Upload Problem

We have installed Roundcube and love it -- but we are having an attachment problem. We cannot get attachments larger than 2MB to successfully upload to the compose message page. I know what you're thinking -- php.ini -- but both max_upload_filesize and post_max_size are both set to 64M. Apache of course was reloaded as well. The upload_tmp_dir is /tmp (linux system tmp directory, chmod 777 on that dir). I grepped the entire Roundcube install and there are no ini_set statements that would override the php.ini variables. This problem has been confirmed on 3 different servers/installations so we're stumped as to what is happening. Dennis

Allowing pre-defined input to be passed to the login form

Hi, I'm the mail administrator for bluehost.com. We've been recently looking around at webmail clients and stumbled on roundcube and we're totally impressed. We'd love to deploy roundcube for all of our 50,000 customers to be able to use, but there's a little bit holding us up: We'd like to be able to pass in pre-defined values to the login form; before we send them the link to roundcube, we already know their username and server fields. I'd like to be able to just pass those in via the URL, for example: http://mailsite/cube? _user=user(a)domain.org&_host=mail.domain.org I've edited the code so that it does this, but I was wondering if it would be possible for this to be integrated into roundcube. My proof of concept code is here: http://digiwano.org/rc.patch . One alternate solution I've been tossing around in my head is the possibility that the servername be automatically generated by looking at the email address. All domains that we host use the name mail.mydomain.com (where mydomain.com is the same as the domain in user(a)mydomain.com) for their mailservers. Ctrl or Shift+Left-click on Inbox expires the session

Hi there, (I searched for similar issues in the archives and found nothing matching, so here we go..) I was giving Roundcube (anonymous CVS from today) a spin and accidentally noticed the behaviour specified in the subject. If you left-click on the Inbox folder while pressing either the Ctrl or the Shift key a new window opens up (well, depending on the browser configuration) and the session becomes expired. This is on a clean, updated Debian Sarge system on today's anonymous cvs (server), while using Firefox 1.0.7 (client). hth, Michele

Re: right click context menus?

It's a great idea.. The context menu were missing. However, I tried the milonic thing, the menu is great but firefox does show both menus (custom and default one).. Well as for the merging option, I'm not fond of it.. It may become a bit messy.. As for the limitation of the menu, I think that this webmail is a REAL application, so it doesn't need the default context menu. Patch for download of txt attachments.

Hi, There's an bug in the steps/mail/get.inc that causes downloads of txt attachments to fail. Instead of just sending the $part into rcmail_parse_message, the MESSAGE['structure'] is sent instead, which is an object causing the explode() to fail in rcmail_parse_message. Pb with charser

roundcube mangles threading headers

Hi, (cvs-20060205) when using roundcube to reply to mailinglists etc. it mangles the msgid string. Roundcube removes the \'<>\' that are required for some mail clients. Example: Message-ID: <43E71908.8000501(a)cornell.edu> becomes included in the reply as: In-Reply-To: 43E71908.8000501(a)cornell.edu Taken from a real conversation. Another thing that bugs me is that I can\'t do \"select all\" \"delete\" multiple times in the same folder - it seems to bring up the second page/50 items again over and over again. But this I already reported to the bugtracker ;^) Cheers. Auke
